I was at this location for a UT Austin graduation ???lunch. The wait was not long and the food ? ? ? was good the hostess was especially nice and charged my phone for me although they have a charging station. The restaurant is very big. The wait service was pretty prompt and it was clean. It’s located in the University city area.
Wife and I went for our anniversary. Got in right away but had a reservation using Open Table. Our server was Erin. She was great! Very helpful with wine list and she allowed us to taste before buying a bottle. We had Rigatoni D and the Lasagna. Both were very good and portions are plenty! We will definitely be back. (If we can have Erin as our server, lol )
I give the food a 5. The lasagna is amazing! Highly recommend it. Service was very lackluster (I know, we are in a time where people are not polite to servers) there was food or something smashed on the window from the pervious guests and never cleaned. Not something I like to see at such a high caliber establishment. I asked the server what the soup was and the response was "I don't know, but it's salty" and third didn't even get a happy birthday from the server or any mention of my birthday. The hostess was nice enough to say happy birthday to me. Note: if there are special occasions, please relay messages to staff. I will definitely try this place again as I am a die-hard Italian food lover.
Charming Italian restaurant. You'll fit in wearing casual clothes and bring in the whole family, or dressing up and going out on a date. Excellent wine selection, reasonable food prices. Plan ahead to take half your food home, so you have room to try some of the delicious desserts.
Understaff but amazing. You can tell they are doing their best. A bit of a wait but Pasta came out hot and tasty.The lasagna is cheesy and full of sauce.
It's too Americanized. The pasta is overcooked, the Alfredo sauce is horribly bland, the marinara sauce is too sweet like sugar's been added, which you NEVER do in Italian cooking.
Atmosphere is a 10/10. The waiter that served me was very accommodating and provides amazing service. The food was phenomenal and the portions were definitely what you paid for. I ordered the 16oz ribeye cooked to medium rare and it was amazing. The spinach cheese dip was good as well. Overall 10/10 for service, atmosphere, price, and quality of food.

The ambiance was everything with our visit to Maggiano's! We just attended a birthday party that was hosted and catered with full courses, an open bar and arcade game options. This was honestly one of the funnest birthdays I've attended in my adult life and think that ANYONE could put together a great time here!
