Had lunch several times here, always great! However, tonight we tried dinner and it was fantastic! Michael was our wait person and delivered exceptionally. The entire staff was professional. Everything was excellent, (and we're not easy to please). The manager greeted us as soon as we arrived, promised a 5 minute wait, and seated us as promised. We'll be back again and again!

Waiter was rude, apparently they had a “silverware shortage” he served us our appetizers not even with napkins and sauced wings you need napkins, chicken was not cooked, and has not askef us for refills on our drinks, ive come here multiple times this is the first time ive had a bad experience thank you to the manager for giving us silverware and taking the chicken off our bill

Waited about 30 minutes to be seated but it was Friday night in Austin, so... We both ordered Jack & Coke which was surprisingly heavy on the Jack. We didn't mind. Our waiter brought bread & butter but no knife which I thought was odd but pulled mine out of my flatware wrap and used it. I ordered the chop steak which came with a salad and I chose the Caesar. Good size, full of flavor and arrived at the table quickly. I requested mashed potatoes as my side item but it showed up with steamed broccoli. ? Hmmm. The expediter insisted it was mine and forced the plate into position in front of me, as if to say, "Not my problem." Our waiter brought my mashed potatoes right away and I ended up keeping the broccoli as well which was actually quite delicious and cooked perfectly. I would order it in the future. My steak was a bit overdone and if weren't for being drown in brown gavy, mushrooms and onions, wouldn't have been very flavorful. The mashed potatoes are whipped full of air which makes for an odd mouth feel and again, not a lot of flavor without butter, salt and pepper. Hubs ordered the same but didn't want a salad so was offered a second side and he chose fried okra. I've never had fried okra either whole or cut at an angle in quite large pieces but it was very tasty and I would order it again. Service was very good.

Delicious Food. The service was not to good

Went there with family. Went at the perfect timing because it got crowded quickly. Was seated in 15 mins (acceptable) & served. The food was good... I've had better, but I would go back. It was not a bad place. Order 22oz steak, steamed broccoli, and garlic mushrooms.

The Longhorn Steakhouse in Austin, TX (on South I-35, near Slaughter Rd.) is even better than our home town LongHorn in GA! The service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious! If you ever have the opportunity to eat there, be sure to ask for the waiter, Daniel. He not only can answer any steak questions or concerns you may have but he is also very thorough and expedites service like few I've seen. Thanks for the great food during our travels!!!

Great food, friendly service. Nothing to complain about the whole experience.

I've been to Longhorn on several occasions and everything has always been great from the hosts to the servers and the food is excellent, but tonight's visit was far below average. We entered, asked for a table for five, gave our number for the wait list, and were told it'd be about a 15-20 minute wait.... no problem. I noticed upon entering it wasn't very busy. We proceeded to sit down and wait our turn. There were only two couples ahead of us, and as I looked around, observed several empty booths and three tables with seating for six also empty but full of dinnerware from the previous diners. It didn't seem as though anyone was in a hurry to clean the tables and booths and the restaurant was not busy. After about ten minutes and seeing dirty, empty tables and no one cleaning them, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I spoke with the manager on duty and informed her we were leaving and why. When I mentioned the empty tables, she said the customers had just left and when I said they were empty when we first entered and remained that way for the next ten minutes until we decided to leave, she offered no apologies nor remedies to make sure other future customers don't experience the same ineptness. I made a phone call and we enjoyed great steaks and hospitality at Texas Roadhouse instead... we know how busy TR gets, and we were seated immediately.

Food was good. We had an infant with a high chair and were sat right next to the staff kitchen door. We didn't mind, but the staff was irritated we were blocking their walk way. Birthday surprise for our niece was lovely! Small wait, but we showed during dinner time.**You read it! Click that Like button please!**

Veteran's Day, it was crowded. We took some veteran seniors to lunch. Everything went well we got seated the Walkers were in everybody was comfortable. They took the drink orders oh, that took a long time to get the drinks. No mention of the Veterans Day special. Until after the bread arrived. When we were told the special was a free appetizer or dessert. Well with this age group, we could have skipped bread and had an appetizer or saved room for dessert. They took the 10% off but we had to skip the desert. We arrived at 11:40 and left at 1:45.The food was amazing but the service was really slow. I'll go there again but probably not on a holiday like this. Happy Veterans Day and thank you to all who served oh, and their wives!
