What a gem this place is. We pick up from here at least once a month (for 2+ years) - chicken shawarma for me and gyro for my husband - and it’s just leaps and bounds better than any similar cuisine I’ve had in the Austin or San Antonio area. It’s so, so good. We call ahead and pick up, which eliminates any wait especially in the summer months. Just awesome. And they are super nice too. Highly recommend!
Stumbled on this place a couple of weeks ago while working in the area, didn’t know what to eat. This was the closest place. Food was delicious, I told my daughter about, and today we ended up near here. We tried it again and it was delicious again. Will eat here every time I’m near. We dined at the location. I ordered one Baklava for dessert but after I finished eating I realized it was not in my bag, I asked if I got charged, she didn’t answer she instantly gave 2. Very nice people!!!
We love Leyla's Kitchen! From the first time we ate there to the most recent, every time their meals have been consistently fresh and delicious. Their lamb, beef, and chicken are all tender and savory! Their portions are generous and amazing! Go visit and tip well. They are fantastic!

Horrible service. Save your money and time. Their sign is because they are so very slow at making and announcing food. Ordered via phone then paid upon arrival. After 35 minutes of watching others inquire and get their food I asked. It has been sitting getting cold. They have no idea and don't seem to care. If the food was hot it may have been worth the money. Maybe. I guess the lack of other options in the area works for them, they don't have to put in any effort. If you want your food when it's supposed to be ready you need to ask every five minutes, or more.
The gyro plate was very good. The chicken shawarma wrap was decent. Situated in a food truck park on Hamilton pool road. Plenty of seating and a dog park close by. Good option in the neighborhood.
Can't say enough good things about Leyla's kitchen. Our family loves the beef/lamb gyros. We have searched far and wide and can't find a comparable gyro that is so filling and fresh. The portions are great for the price leaving you full at the end of each meal.
I have eaten Lebanese food for years, but this place is by far the best I have ever had. I had the Kofta and also tried to beef kabobs, both were excellent. The tabouli was super fresh and so was the hummus. And the baklava off the charts. I will be coming back here again and again. Not to mention great service.
Absolutely incredible food! I'm from Detroit and I almost never find Lebanese food that I love outside of metro Detroit. Leyla's is the exception! It's the best I've found outside of Michigan. I'm so glad we live by this wonderful gem! We've almost tried the full menu and everything has been delicious. Chicken Shawarma is my fav though :)
We routinely get Leyla’s Kitchen delivered with UberEats and our entire family of 4 craves it. We have never had anything that wasn’t wonderful. I always get the gyro plate with a side of fries. My husband the beef shawarma. My teenage boys mix it up but also say the cheeseburger is awesome. The fries are crunchy, even having traveled in a delivery carton. The meats are always perfect. The lentil soup is my husband’s all time favorite soup. The hummus is some of the best we’ve ever had and the baba ghanouj will convince you that this should be the only way to ever eat an eggplant. And if you don’t like eggplant, this will change your mind….Absolutely delicious! We’ve taken to ordering more than just our dinner servings so we can enjoy Leyla’s for lunch and leftovers for a couple days after. The only thing that would make Leyla’s better is if they bought the Austin Java location in Drip and opened a brick and mortar. Then we would go even more and never be denied our favorite eatery, which happens when there are no Uber drivers available. We are and will remain loyal, steadfast patrons of Leyla’s Kitchen and wish them continued success.
