I went out back to smoke a cig and the bartender in the wife beater and mullet / ponytail hairstyle followed me out... Closed the door behind him, moaned at me, then my fiance appeared out of nowhere and I was so relieved to see him... So we were on our way out and we're gonna say goodbye to our majority black and brown passing friends and that's when the dude came up to kick us out. And then I flipped my lid, oops, Bruuuh too weeird. and the dude called my fiance boy
The bar was fine. DJ was good but declined quickly. Door guy (in the Jean vest) assaulted 3 of the people I was with in the middle of the street. 10/10 if you’re looking for the vibe the bar gives off go to west 6th.
Good solid bar. Can smoke on the back patio. OK wifi. Pretty good happy hour selection with good prices (till 7 pm). Nice staff.
Tried to get some tacos. Was tough to get to the back patio. Exit doors in the back were locked (which seems like a fire hazard) so we had to deal with the mess of going through the overcrowded building to get out. Back patio was nice
Loud, crouded on a Friday night, full of twenty-somethings, limited drink options. Perfect if you are hanging with your friends. Pretty dope DJ
Latchkey is my favorite bar in all of Austin. I try to go every Tuesday night and Sundays when I can. I lovvveeee the band that plays there those nights, plus they have a really fun spin on karaoke. I've gotten all my friends and coworkers going at this point, and I never not have a great time. The crowd there is always lighthearted and fun and we always end up making temporary friends while we're there. Also, the food truck in the back is pretty good. It's nice to be able to eat while you're drinking, plus the woman who takes orders is super nice. The only thing that sucks is on Tuesdays they used to do a crawfish truck, but the last few weeks they haven't had it, and I miss the crawfish. Lol
What a terrible place, the worse experience I ever had, they randomly pick people to put them out without explanation and the public is terrible, someone stole my jacket. When I ask people who are working there about it, they didn’t care and were terribly rude. Austin so nice and positive place, most of the bars just amazing, I am so sorry my evening was broken by visit this terrible place.

This is a great little dive bar in East Austin. Has an intimate dance floor and a great DJ on the weekends. Definitely a place you can go and dance! Has a large outside area with a good food truck and I believe a ping pong table.
