Lalas is a fun kitchy vibe. Been coming here since the original owner was around. Still has a little of the charm left def worth a stop.
I have been a regular at this little neighborhood dive for years. The prices are super reasonable, it's clean, and the staff go above and beyond to make patrons feel safe, comfortable, and welcome. I have made some of my favorite memories on that patio.Sunny and Jake are always waiting with a warm smile or hug to greet me, a perfectly poured drink, and friendly conversation. This place is lucky to have some of the best managers in the business. The rest of the staff is equally as impressive and I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience at this establishment.Thanks to the talented crew that has cultivated one of the kindest, most inclusive, and enjoyable environments I have found at an Austin bar. Your hard work and careful consideration of the experience of your guests has not gone unnoticed. There is a lot of competition in this area, so when you see the regulars stopping by night after night, just know that we are there to see your faces. The Christmas lights are merely a bonus. Keep up the great work, y'all. We love you.
The door guy let me walk out holding a Lonestar and then once I got outside a bartender came out and smacked the beer out of my hand into my face? If your rule is to not let people go outside with alcohol then make sure somebody’s on top of that?? Also just ask me to throw it away or put it down?? Never been treated like that at a bar, and ridiculous behavior for a chill Friday night with friends. Disgusting behavior. Never coming back here and telling anyone that may happen to ask about this establishment how their bartenders like to act.
I cant tell you how happy I was to find this existed! I'm super cheesy and this made my night. 5 stars for the decor, friendly staff, and fun atmosphere. Order pizza next door, drink, and play some pool in the midst of the Christmas spirit ?❤✌.

Came from out of town since friends had recommended it. Called to make sure hours were accurate because they are listed 4pm-2am. Message states they open at 11am. Well, when my friend walked in he was told “Get out. We are closed”. Basically told we were lying about calling and the message saying 11. We came back at 4pm and the rude bartender took our order by saying “What do you want?” The friend that called asked about the hours being different and was told there wasn’t a message because they don’t even have a phone. It’s listed as (512) 487-5297 and there is a message. Small dive bar with a great theme. It was an hour drive for the 6 of us and I would go back and even recommend but the rudeness of the bartender made for a crappy visit.

I love this place every time I go there for the atmosphere. So unique.The outside patio is so fun to meet new people, bring a pet,etc.The service is ok-not the friendliest-but nothing to complain about.Make sure you take your picture in the big green Santa chair inside!
Fun and festive as always. Great bartenders. An interesting variety of Christmas drinks available. They have extended the outside portion. Cool little spot that's been in Austin for years.
