Even if you don't like sushi this is still a fantastic place. If you don't want to wait for the dish you want to come around on the conveyor, you can order off the menu and have the upper conveyor deliver it to your table. A cute little robot delivers your beverages. A wait person will take care of your refills. And they are on the ball with those. A unique place to eat. Expect a wait but you can shop nearby to kill some time
I absolutely adore the hypnotic nature of endless conveyor belt sushi and I am beyond ecstatic to have the opportunity to enjoy it in Austin. The variety is shocking and the number of different dishes you can sample is astonishing. Save room for pastry ice cream and mochi ice cream desserts! Plus you have the unique experiences of being served by a robot!
An awesome dining experience in North Austin. Will be going back at least quarterly. I highly recommend downloading the kura app so you can be put on the waiting list as this business has a high volume customer base. The drinks are brought out by a bot that comes to the middle of your table and the conveyer built continuously restocks with a variety of sushi. A must if you love sushi.
I’m in love with this place, such a great experience!Amazing concept. The little robot will bring you drinks and wasabi. You can pick sushi right off the conveyor belt or order a specific roll that gets delivered to you by an automated train! Sushi and rolls delicious and fresh. Also they have some deserts. My favorite item - hand roll with salmon skin. Best hand roll in my life.Too bad they don’t have sashimi. If you want to try a bunch of different nigiri and sushi rolls, come here because it’s worth every penny!
Love the place! It is fun to take the family. Portion control is on your part! I also ordered the miso soup but I wasn’t a fan of the soup. The place is sort of a self-serve and you have to figure it out yourself…. Unless you ask!Price is moderate.
It’s fun for the novelty. However, the sushi is pretty bad quality and overpriced for what it is. They are starting to implement these robots that drop off drinks, but it took over 15 to get my drink. I’ve been multiple times and on several occasions the option to pay online wasn’t working, however, trying to get a server to get a paper bill will take over 20 minutes. The servers are more like bussers because your food comes on a conveyer belt. Because of this trying to flag an employee down to ask for help is rather difficult and many employees are rude and unhelpful.
The revoling sushi bar was really cool. $3 per dish you take from the conveyor belt. You can also order ramen and other foods for additional cost. The sushi was fresh although some dishes kept coming out empty. It might have been since it was almost closing time. But we had 30 dishes and some other stuff as well and we were stuffed. The only thing we hated was this jelly desert thing.
I’d just recommend going here for the experience. Food is just meh but the concept of the restaurant is very cool. Miso soup was okay, a little salty and had too much scallions. The only rolls actually enjoyed was were the tamago and that’s about it. I don’t recommend the lemonade as it tasted disgusting. The place is very cold so bring a jacket if you decided to come in. Overall, the food doesn’t worth the money but it’s an experience.
It wasn't bad. Waited an hour to be seated on a Saturday. Not worth the wait with the food but it was a unique one time experience. I liked the Tamago and Avocado sushi the best. The watermelons were tasty too. Server was lame
One of the best sushi restaurants I've ever been to! The food is delicious and tastes fresh. The revolving conveyor belt concept is so much fun! And after 15 plates you win a little egg with a prize inside from the machine above the table! Had an amazing time and will be back soon!
