Delivery was late. And rice of sushi was so hard like stones..Unbelievable. Only packing design was good..
this restaurant has a gimmick and doesn't even try to pull it off. the only redeeming thing about it is the cute box the food comes in, which might be more appetizing and than lukewarm, greasy, barely fried rice. the sashi
Absolutely horrible. I Wish I would have looked at reviews before ordering from this place. Stale, stiff, undercooked, messy. They didn’t have any tuna. So I had 2 orders cancelled before it was explained to me. Amazing concept. I wanted this to be so good. I would order from here weekly. Atrocious. Do not order from here. Disgusting.
You're really just paying for the marketing & advertising, which I must say, is adorable. The fried shrimp was tasty, the actually sushi was weird and very plain. May be worth it for an insta moment, but otherwise not impressed.
Same as every other review of this place, ordered through the Uber Eats app, took too long, tried to cancel the order, ended up getting charged for food I never received. Honestly a big waste of time and money, if you want sushi I'd advise going elsewhere.
Discovered this place through DoorDash. Got the krispy heaven which had a variety of their options - it was all delicious! Also loved the branding and presentation of the food. The shrimp tempura was still crispy when arrived too.
Packaging was very cool. I wish the sushi was a bit colder, but I’m blaming that one on door dash. The prices are pretty good and it’s fun to split with another person. Lots of bad reviews on here, but I enjoyed my experience.
Do not order from this place through any delivery app. Estimated time was 20-30 minutes, as I live quite close, but it never came. Two door dash drivers cancelled, apologizing, saying the restaurant was taking too long to make the food. If they take that long to make it, I would never want to eat there either.Literally go anywhere else, there's so many good food options in Austin.
my experience mirrors the previous reviews. I had a pickup order through DoorDash. There was serious disconnect between the information updates on DoorDash and reality. Chief among them was the fact that the food truck was out of items and they had no way to contact me to ask how I wanted to proceed. This meant that they essentially held my order for about an hour until we got there and told them to continue on. That is no way to run a business. Then, either one of the descriptions was wrong or they shorted me on the order as well. This might have been a door dash issue as I've experienced it several times at other places. What food we did get was pretty tasty. Was it a good value? Meh, probably not. However, it is not like you're gonna' get avocado rolls at 7-11. And if you do, be weary.
I got a basic salmon roll. The food got here very quickly. The presentation was super cute. I got exactly what I ordered, and it tasted fresh. I really liked how they put the condiments on the side not touching the sushi rolls so that you could decide what you wanted and it’s great for people like me with specific food allergies/diet restrictions. - My girlfriend
