There is no inside dining here, just a small patio in the back. After cleaning our own table because all 6 or so were dirty, a homeless person came up on the patio asking for money. This started our interesting dinner. I do have to say the cinnamon tea was very good and the summer rolls were not bad, but the teriyaki chicken was sub par and the rice was definitely reheated in the microwave with absolutely no flavor. We asked for a sweet sauce or chili sauce and they had none so we had basically flavorless food. I would never recommend this place due to bad ambiance, bad service and tasteless food.
This is definitely one of my favorite spots in Austin. I love eating here because its healthy and delicious. I prefer the teriyaki chicken over the spicy chicken. The dumplings are amazing too! I don't think I have ever had a dumpling with this filling making it unique. It's also extremely reasonably priced. Also the food holds up really well even thought its takeout only!
Please reopen dine in. The 102 degree heat is not patio friendly. Also miss the complementary soup, salad and pickle. Food is 5 star, have been dining here for 15 years, quality and flavor is always perfect.
Definitely should be top rated. Healthy options and gits a vegan, vegetarian and meat eater too. Lovely spin on Asian cuisine. Reasonable price
A local friend sent me to Koriente, an Asian-inspired, no-frills shop on the edge of downtown. Since the building itself doesn't stick out, it's easy to miss unless you look on Yelp and see the 1,000+ reviews and 4.5 star rating.I went for lunch on a Monday afternoon and walked right in. I ordered the milk tea boba and a rice bowl with egg and shrimp. It came with each component and sauce on it's own and I mixed it together. It was so flavorful! It also came with miso soup.There are a few tables inside, but the back patio is where it's at. It's quintessential Austin with lights strung up and art on the walls.
Hot dog, that was good. But to be clear: there are no hot dogs here.Fast, friendly service. Limited outside seating on the patio, but I didn't wait long at noon on a Tuesday.Dumplings and japchae. Both excellent quality.
Great place to grab lunch to go — so good I ate here twice while in Austin. Super friendly staff. The first visit they gave me a drink on the house and the second visit, free soup! Def recommend the mix mix bowl.
Been coming here for years and it's one of my favorite places in Austin. All of their dishes that I've tried are both delicious and very nourishing. Free miso soup when dining in was a bonus, and the staff is friendly and the interior is cozy and inviting. Can't wait for in-person dining to come back!
The food is so delicious with a unique flavor. I really love the staff. They are so kind, accommodating and generous. However, I haven’t wanted to eat here since the pandemic began because of the excessive use of single use plastics. It feels irresponsible to produce so much waste. When I learned they started to allow dining outside, I thought they would get back to serving the food on plates like they used to. They are still serving food with excessive amount of plastic containers and I just don’t feel comfortable supporting this with the information we have re the state of the environment.
