What a joke I asked for a gyro and chicken plate no rice just salad I got the salad and no meat. The smallest amount of meat possible. While my kid orders the same plate and gets a normal amount. I will never ever go here for $13 I get lettuce. I want to use profanity so bad but I don’t want it removed.

I ordered my food step out in the front come back in 10 minutes later and restaurant has 7 more people had came in and now seated. As I waited for my food I noticed other’s people name being called who was not there when I order my food. There was a 12 year kid that took my order. I asked a guy who came from the back what’s going on with my order because people were receiving there orders and he replied this is not an McDonald’s I clearly understand is not a McDonald’s because a 12 year old kid took my order ( Labor Laws ) my only confusion came because I only ordered 2 gyros and there was people receiving gyros before me. I’ve been a long time customer since they opened I guess I won’t be coming back after today.

Good restaurant. Great food. Their grilled cauliflower, stewed eggplant, dolma, hummus are awesome. Pita bread was fresh and soft. We will be definitely go there again.

shelly was amazing! such a cool lady. food was fresh and generously served! i was full all day. really cheap for the amount of food you get! the fresh juices are also very yummy :D

I was really craving some Mediterranean, so I ordered from Kismet Cafe and got:- P18: Rice & Salad Bowl with Beef and Tzatziki Sauce ($9.99)- P17: Rice & Fries Bowl with Zucchini and Jalapeño Sauce ($9.99)- Gyro Wrap ($7.39)- P16: Vegetarian Mezza - 6 falafels over salad & tabouleh, side hummus, eggplant dip, and pita ($9.99)- Baklava ($1.99)As you can see, there is a wide variety of options to choose from. Whether you want a wrap or a bowl, something light and healthy or something filling and hearty - there is a bit of something for everyone.I don't have a specific favorite item as I liked how different each were, so if I had to take the best of each and combined them I would get a P17: Rice & Fries Bowl with Gyro and Jalapeño Sauce with a side of pita. Do me a favor though, whatever you order, make sure to get the Baklava!!All in all, I had an amazing time eating Kismet Cafe and would definitely be ordering from them again soon. Delicious food and affordable prices? I give them a 5/5!Sincerely,@thehungrylonghorn from Instagram

One of my favorite go-tos when I’m in the area. Consistently delicious food, super friendly staff, and always quick to receive my food (both dining in and to-go). Shelly is amazing and super welcoming as well, she’ll point you in the right direction if you can’t decide what to order! You’re missing out if you don’t try this place!

Been eating there since they were on Guadalupe! This place is the reason Mediterranean food is my favorite. Unfortunately, I don't live in Austin anymore but I make sure to order a gyro and chicken over rice bowl whenever I'm in the area!

Ordered through Doordash. The food was good. The Jalapeno over rice was not to spicy, added my own red peppers I had leftover from pizza hut. I asked for utensils because the hotel we were staying at didn't have any, but they did not provide us with any.. now we're eating with our hands.

Worst restaurant in my whole life. Very bad customer service. Rude people, we came with family and order lot of things, after 15 minutes guy call us and said we don't have most of our order. So we said give something else but they refuse to switch anything.

The food here is delicious and the service is great. The order is usually ready very quickly, and the fresh. Ingredients and rich flavors are appreciated! A favorite of mine andy friends for a dinner or late night snack!
