Great breakfast spot. Cool place with nice vibe. The breakfast tacos were great. Especially the chef’s special. Good coffee. Fast friendly service.
For a walk-in coffee shop it was way faster than most.Seem to have a large variety and I ordered a 24 oz Americano with sugar-free syrup and topped off with oat milk.First thing I noticed was they don't use pumps on the syrup so there is no way they can consistently make the same drink over and over without measuring. As anyone knows that follows me or sees my reviews knows I'm at a lot of coffee shops and we own one.So of course when I got my drink and made it back to my truck and took my first sip it's too much sugar-free sweetener because it was non-measured amounts. This is the drink that I get made the same at every coffee shop I go to and anytime it's not measured it'll always be wrong.Without measured amounts I would skip this one next time.
Complete hateful discrimination. I was kicked out of a show for eating a tortilla chip that someone left on the table. I thought I was going to an open mic jam session wewr I could share poetry and listen to music but instead it was a burlesque show where I spent $40 on entry and beers only to feel outcast and disrespected because I wasn't part of their group. Been to over 70 countries and never felt so discriminated against in the US... I should not have eaten the tortilla chip but I also should not have been escorted to the door agressively for doimg so... ? Anyways, doesn't really matter I guess it just feels horrible being singled out and hated in ... The worst part was after they kicked me out they laughed about it and dabbed each other in glee.. it was horribly disheartening to be honest... Oh well.
This place is great - the food and coffee are tasty, the seating is plentiful and comfortable, and the staff is nice and helpful. The cha-cha sandwich is soooo good. The bread is so fresh. My only complaint is that the music is too loud inside (but the choice of music is awesome). Not really a spot you can enjoy a coffee and a book or work for a bit unless you have noise canceling headphones.
Wonderful atmosphere ?, the staff are great and friendly. Good vibes all around.
awesome live music friendly atmosphere ?
An officer responded to my crash on Airport Blvd and stated that Kick Butt coffee was nearby if I wanted to wait for my family there. When I asked if the coffee was good, she said that she wouldn’t know because they served her foam and water last time. I passed and walked to Bennu.
Update: I've had a few sandwiches from here and they are good. The toasted focaccica stays cripsy and the flavor is always there. I asked for chips and salsa but i guess they were out so they subbed with a small salad that i just added to the sandwich. I will keep trying different sandwiches. Old review: Not bad would definitely try again. Sandwich is decent size bread was crispy chicken was good
Our favorite coffee/breakfast spot in Austin! Really cool vibes mixing music and martial arts with as good as it gets breakfast food and awesome coffee. Our favorite is their Pecan blend coffee, also the muffins and breakfast tacos. Good place to work on a laptop or meet up with friends too.
It's my new coffee place of choice! My office recently moved to the area and I had been looking for an alternative to office coffee. This is definitely it! The staff is friendly, they play BOPS, the vibe is chill and the quesadilla fed me for two days. Can't wait to return in the evening for a drink or to do some work from there! They also seem to have a lot of events going on so I'll need to check them out.Great coffee/drink/hang option in the highland mall area.
