Stefany was sooo sweet. We had hot tea, chai, chips and salsa, vegan tacos, vegan BBQ sandwich. Everything was great and delish!

Food is pretty good, american style breakfast all day diner vibes.Place was packed with very few staff so service was very lackluster.Had a pretty decent IPA on tap.

The original Kerbey Lane is an Austin essential and will forever serve up mighty fine brunches. Pancakes are their signature and it shows. Each pancake variety is well cooked and enormous. The seasonal specials are worth noting because that's where the creativity shines. So visit twice. The first visit should be for a brunch staple, and the second visit should be for a seasonal dish. Skip anything Tex-Mex, always get the queso.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff

DELICIOUS CHICKEN & PANCAKES! Yummy coffee. Definitely try their queso, it's amazing! The fish and chips were great too! It's a relaxed diner atmosphere, totally hipster vibes, I love it! Shout out to our waitress Taliana who was a great server!

Disappointed in waiting see picture the reciept on this table was left and printed at 930 am and its now 1028 and they still did not clean the table been waiting alm 45 min for a table... They need to turn around the tables faster.so they are cleaning the table every 15 to 20 min So disappointed in the management of this location This place is good but the wait is long The biggest pancakes on earth but don't d Forget to get extra home frys Average ticket 15.00 a person

Took an uber, got there 40 minutes before closing , not so smart greeter said, we are not serving anymore.... people after us got seated..... beyond belief; first and last time I'll go to this not so great establishment!!!

Began eating at original Kirby Lane in mid 1970's. UT students working at main Post Office raved and raved about it. I frequented it and Manchada Road diner until I left Austin in 2001. Always took out of town guest especially those who bragged they could "eat some cakes". Most barely finished one of the monstrous buttermilk pancakes. I was big eater so two was never a problem. Never had a better pancake. I have been all over USA and overseas. Kerry Lane pancakes are the best. Sometimes I tried other items. Always satisfied but it's the pancakes that kept me coming back. Now am in SA and long to visit. Great little street, Kerbey Lane. On my bucket list.

I love that not much has changed here in 30 years. Still a solid menu, fun staffing and hot coffee. The parking could be better, but that also helps keep the wait times bearable. Fun to walk in after two years of COVID and have the host remember your name.

Don’t go if you don’t have time to relax and wait , this food was delicious ?! It is a super busy restaurant because they offer good food. Nice selection of salads and sandwiches too!
