The is fantastic. The portions are large. Dumplings were fresh and tasty. Best I have found in a long time. Food tastes like the food I had in Taiwan. We ordered a main dish and 3 different orders of dumplings. They warned us about how much food it was, great service.
The hand pulled noodles were great, we had the beef stew noodles and the spicy beef suan tsai noodles. highly recommend this place
Got takeout via Uber eats and was happily surprised that the wonton soup was still hot upon arrival. Also got pork soup dumplings and egg fried rice. The eggs in the rice were definitely bigger pieces than I’m used to but still tasty. The soup flavor was good and dumplings were good too but I’ve had better so I can’t say “amazing” but they were definitely good. I do wish that in general vegetarian options for wontons were available as I’m not huge on pork or the crab options. Overall tasty and would eat here again.
A solid Chinese restaurant good for many good choices ranging from dumplings to noodles dishes. We ordered the pork soup dumpling, pork and chive dumpling, black fungus with onion, beef burrito, spicy beef noodles soup and lamb noodles soup. The best dish was actually the marinated black fungus! The spicy beef soup is excellent. The beef burrito tasted fine but was COLD! The lamb soup was bland and rather tasteless. Good price point.
I got the stewed chicken chow mein and my wife got the shrimp chow mein. We also got the Spicy & Sour Sweet Potato Noodles 酸辣粉.The food was very fresh and good. I would have preferred much more of the cabbage. The little cup of what I am assuming is their house hot sauce (chili oil) was very good. The Spicy & Sour Sweet Potato Noodles 酸辣粉 was very spicy and I have a pretty good threshold.
Julie's Noodle house is a fantastic local restaurant. The homemade noodles have the best texture. We got a beef burrito. A hot crispy scallion pancake filled with layers of beef. Pork and Shrimp dried dumplings. Pork soup with bone in pork ribs and homemade noodles in a non spicy broth. You can always spice it up to your level with spicy condimets. Super tasty and always great service. It is in a strip mall and very casual establishment
Discovered this place while looking for somewhere to have lunch in Austin. Walked in and the place was pretty crowded, but there were a few tables open and the line moved quickly. There's about 20 tables and they were immediately cleaned as people left. Ordered the scallion pancake for an appetizer, mixed dumplings, lamb stewed noodle soup, and beef stewed noodle soup. Was given a number and grabbed an open table.Scallion pancake and mixed dumplings came out first within 10 minutes of sitting down. Both were fresh and hot. The scallion pancakes were very thin and crispy yet very flavorful. The mixed dumplings had a nice thick handmade dough on the outside and each was filled with a good sized dumpling on the inside. You could easily tell the dough was handmade similar to the noodles. Dumplings were amazing. The noodle soups came out nice and looked great. Both were filled with a large amount of handmade noodles, meat, and the other ingredients. Upon the first bite, there was no doubt this was authentic handmade noodles. Similar to the dumplings, the dough was thick, yet consistently soft and cooked perfectly. The soups were light and full of flavor from the noodles and meat. The meat was very tender and juicy. These noodle soups are very filling, but it was hard to stop eating.Highly recommend Julie's Noodles for authentic, homemade noodles. Will definitely come back to try some of the other noodles and appetizers.
A friend of mine from Hong Kong highly recommended this place while in Austin and it did not disappoint. Great beef noodle soup!
Delicious handmade noodles! I really liked their crab and pork soup dumplings. Big portion sizes but it gets busy fast so go early or order online
Best Asian/Chinese style food I have found in Austin. Ordered for take out and my order was on time. The combination rice is amazing. The beef stew noodles was great as well. Can’t wait to go back again.Negative: They only have one location, adding a few more would be great. Especially in East and South Austin.
