The food is good, however it is in dire need of cleaning. The air vents above the food look terrible and seem to have black mold. The vents above the tables have a lot of dust as well and for some reason the booth I was seated at was wet. Service was nice, waitress was attentive, again food is good, but I just can't over the lack of cleanliness. It makes the meal experience very uncomfortable. Probably won't go back.
I had been to Joy East Buffet before. Myself, my wife Trina, and another female named Moe. Visited the Joy East Buffet and got take out for the first time. When we paid for four loaded plastic trays of food. We discovered that they charge you by the poundFour stacked trays cost just over $77.00 dollars. Advise don't do the takeout, unless you want a days worth of good eating. Dine in, and relax, there's dessert too!
If i could do a 0 star i would. this food was disgusting and cold and there was flies fighting to land on the food that was set out. i dont recommend anyone eating here it also smells horrendous inside. I have no idea how this place has as many stars as it does or why its still open with the conditions that its in. Please save yourselves from the horrible experience and food.
if I could do 0 stars I wouldI went the day before yesterday and today me and my mother both have food poisoning. I havent been able to hold even water down and leaving the bathroom is not something I can do for longer than 30 minutes. I am never eating here again and suggest no one to ever go either.
You got to be starving to eat.If you enjoy bad experiences.Go and see yourself.I love chinese food , Im happy this place was not my first experience.This people should be trained by Hibachi grill.
This place is a good deal for what you get but I'm rating it a low score because I felt very sick after my first plate. It was really busy the night we went and the place wasn't gross but not very clean. Probably won't go back a little worried about the food safety.
Yikes. Nothing seemed clean. I felt gross just sitting there. The buffet was dirty and most of the food was cold and not very good :( I don’t like leaving bad reviews but really hope they step up their game….
Food tasted good ....but sorry to say it's one of the dirtiest restaurants I have ever been in .... I won't be back here.... also online it states that the lunch buffet is 9 dollars .... it is not .... I don't remember the exact amount but it was more then 9 bucks. Step up your game!!!
Only thing that was good at this place was the, egg drop soup, the fried rice and the sweet tea. Everything else That I tried was either over cooker or left in the fryer tooo long. This was my first time trying this place and now I know why!!!! Was very disappointed even when it came to our waitress. Definitely won’t be back.
Don't even bother! I have no idea how this place has a 3.5 star rating. It went here for lunch today. Because things got busy at work I didn't get to take my lunch until an hour later than normal. So I was HUNGRY! As soon as you walk in you smell seafood. If you can smell seafood that strongly, it usually isn't very fresh. But alas, I was famished, so I solidered on in. I got my first plate of food, lo mein noodles and broccoli chicken, plus 3 egg rolls. The noodles were okay, the rest not so good. All 3 of my egg rolls were cold. After finishing that I went back for hot and sour soup, more egg rolls and the fried spring rolls. The soup was at least hot, albeit a little too hot. Nothing an ice cube couldn't fix. The egg rolls were warm-ish this time, the spring rolls were stone cold. I didn't dare try anything else and just opted to top off my hunger with more soup.
