Came here with family, not impressed. The entire place makes you feel like you're squished, there's very little room at the bar, the inside dining area, or in the outdoor seating. The food, for the most part, was underwhelming. We had edamame, potstickers, and takoyaki appetizers, but only the potstickers were edible. The edamame was crunchy at times, and every piece of takoyaki was raw inside and absolutely drenched in mayo that had fat chunk of egg whites. The ramen itself was fine, but just so. The broth tasted cheap, and the bowl felt unspiced. The only thing I enjoyed was the pork, of which there was two tiny bites worth. Definitely not worth a visit.
Very good food! Great service.
Employees and management are not trained on laws regarding service animals. I was told that individuals with service animals were only seated outside, when I pulled up the ADA website and showed them thats not legal they were willing to serve me inside but other staff were rude and made uncomfortable comments about my service dog so we ended up leaving. It was truly disappointing bc Ive been to Jinya before I became further disabled and truly loved their food. To the management of this establishment I truly understand that people may try to bring in fakes but to mitigate this there are 2 legal questions you can ask; 1: Is this a sevice dog? 2: what task(s) do they perform to mitigate your disability
Currently on a ramen quest so I decided to stop here for a quick bite. There was a 10-15 minute wait time for a table so I sat at the bar. I ordered the spicy creamy shrimp, pork potstickers and spicy chicken ramen. Also to drink I got the sake sunrise and hot sake. Everything was pretty delicious, the ramen broth had such a great flavor and the shrimp was awesome until mid bite I saw something crawling on the lettuce that got plated with it. It was a little green garden spider unfortunately my appetite was ruined because I also saw that they don’t devein the shrimp I’ll probably never order that dish again. But other than that I wouldn’t mind coming here again for the ramen only.
My usual items at jinya are spicy chicken ramen and chicken kaarage. There are have been good and bad days at this restaurant on my previous visits and today was a good day. The food tasted good and my ramen was perfect.I love the chicken kaarage here, big juicy chicken with crunchy exterior. I have tried all of their chicken ramens and I love their spicy one. My partner got black tonkatsu and enjoyed his as well. His came with thick noodles while the chicken one came with thin noodles. There has been a steady increase in costs here over the last 4 years.
Great Ramen, super friendly staff! Eat here every time we are in Austin at the Domain. I recommend the Miso Unami Spicy Ground Pork Ramen. ??
I honestly love Ramen first time I had it was at this place right here. Food is great . the servers however can be a little more avaliable when I need a refill I would like to not wait 15 min . Other then that no complaints .
Had a great time havibg real Ramen for the first time here. We had the spicy chicken and tonkotsu black Ramen with corn and enjoyed it throughly. I recommend getting their spicy sauce and extra noodles!
We were were not impressed at all and won’t be back. Very mediocre ramen and appetizers that lacked flavor and had soggy noodles. The food was also lukewarm, no one eats ramen like that. We’ve had much better ramen before and was surprised by the 5-star reviews.
The food was perfect ? I was super hungry and the food did not take long. I had an amazing experience highly recommend this place.
