Best place I've been in a long time great safety on cleanliness wiping the tables down. Wearing masks. Extremely friendly staff went out of the way to make my visit enjoyable
Mmmm. Good ol cup of coffee and some pancakes w eggs bacon and hash browns. Just warm and cozy. They are a bit short staff but be patient its worth the wait?
I always come there and I went and my food was under cooked. And my friends order was wrong and we waited over 30 mins for her food. And everyone had bad customer service. Worst experience might not be coming back
This is my experience and my opinion only. In my opinion a manager has the sole responsibility to create an environment that ensures that the experience I had is not repeated. It was a bad experience (again).I walked in to order to go as I couldn't get the website to function properly.Waited 18 minutes before anyone even came out to see if anyone was waiting at the front desk (pro tip: customers just want to be acknowledged upon arrival). 3 family's were waiting, 3 family's came and left because no one came out to acknowledge them (lost revenue opportunity).12 minutes after being asked to wait for a minute while the 3 other guests were seated, no problem so far (yes I timed them as I've had issues here before and wanted to give them another shot). Then came the "oh, you want to order carryout?"Just one minute....15 minutes later , yes I'm still waiting.I got to order my 4 simple meals no modifications....25 minutes later I received my order all sealed up ready to go...got home the order was wrong 2 items where NOT what I ordered, 1 sandwich was missing the meat completely...So do I go back and complain and ask for my money back and my 30% tip.... NO most likely not he waitresses fault although she didn't check the kitchens work (big mistake on her part).I'm just going to post an honest review because I'm tired of hearing the excuses about the global p a n d e m i c ... staff shortages, etc.I just want what I ordered to be correct the first or second time, and for people to take real responsibility for mistakes made. Things happen, there is no need to use OUR situation as a constant excuse. Just apologize and try to do better. This is the second strike for this independent location and unfortunately my last try here(to many great options in Austin). No response is necessary I'm a very loyal customer, but 2 strikes is enough.Bottom line, ❤️ Love the staff but they are not being managed well in my opinion.
It was a very good Ihop experience. There was a "Karen" incident where a lady was yelling and throwing dishes, but the employees handled it with grace and kindness. We were waiting to be called for a table and the "Karen" stormed right by my Service Dog nearly stepping on her, We got an apology for her behavior from the employees and I am sad to say I was too shocked to say what I wanted to say " It is nobody's fault she is acting like a toddler but her own." Food was hot, everything was clean, staff was Service Dog educated. The bathroom was very clean.
After being seated it took the server about 15 minutes before coming over you should use herself and ask if we like water or coffee. Then after we place our order just for omelette and pancakes that took another 45 minutes. And when I ask if I could have my syrup warm the server told me they don't do that but she would do it for me this time. My husband and I were just passing through on our way to Oklahoma and we just stop for breakfast. The service was poor and the place was dirty. I have breakfast at IHOP a lot and this is the first time I've ever had experience pool service and a dirty restaurant.
I ordered food online went inside to get it. There were 3 females working at the time, neither one came to attend me. There was one female who kept looking at me and after about 15mins I asked about my food. My order had been sitting on the counter since before I had walked in. I get your understaffed but at least acknowledge customers when they come in, instead of opening boxes of plastic ware!
Had ihop delivered and most everything was fine except the avocado (+$1.94) looked awful.
It’s to be expected now that due to sometimes-cumbersome Covid protocols and short staffing there will be a wait just about anywhere (but particularly a chain location in a big city). Our last experience at this location was a bit disappointing because we came during a dinner rush and had to leave after waiting 35 minutes for a seat because we had to be somewhere and needed to eat on time. So THIS time we were pleasantly surprised to only wait about 5 minutes to be seated since we arrived at 2pm in between rushes. Our waitress, Betty, was wonderful. We work overnight so afternoon is “breakfast” for us and we desperately needed coffee. When we said we needed lots of coffee, she anticipated the longer time between refills and brought us soup mugs instead of diner cups. It was like Christmas morning for hung-over caffeine-lovers. We still had 3 refills even with the larger servings. She stayed on top of everything. There is definitely a wait for food. I suggest looking at the menu in advance so you can order food at the same time as drinks. IHOP, y’all have a top notch waitress, I hope you treat her well.
Went on a night when they were short staffed with only one waiter. I was more than happy to wait a little extra time for our food. But when it came, the waiter forgot part of it, and he didn't come back to check on our table at all. We had to flag him down.. By the time he brought the missing food, the rest of it was cold and inedible. Waited 20 minutes for syrup and my pancakes were soggy and cold by that point. I ended up not having a meal and leaving hungry. I also want to mention I saw several ants crawling around.
