If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! The sushi is fresh. The sashimi and nigiri were so delicious! The classic rolls like the rainbow and the eel rolls are also great! I would recommend this place id you like fresh sashimi and nigiri. The sushi chefs are wonderful to chat with, and they're friendly. I watched them make the waygu tartare nigiri, and I ordered one. It filled my entire palate with umami flavor. I would come back here again, and maybe try the love boat next time because we saw one beautifully made.

It's been 5 years since our last visit.Four of us went tonight for late night dinner after long meeting, and all we wanted was sushi and something that we can enjoy.Overall the sashimi sampler and sushi quality was great, California Uni was fresh and sweet. The reason I took one star off, was because our waiter seems to be in his bad mood day, so he wasn't quite friendly when taking our order, which that didn't really bother us too much, only hope he can learn to leave his bad days out of work.Overall I do suggest everyone to try this Sushi restaurant.

Came to IchiUmi since it was very close to the hotel we were staying at. It was super busy. Restaurant has a nice ambience and it was clean. Food was good, but the Karaage chicken lacked flavor. The waiter had forgotten to put that order in. We reminded him and after trying it, we could have definitely skipped it. It was an average experience so I give it a 3 star.

Loved the food. ?Service was good. Everything tasted great. Recommend y'all to come and give it a try. Plates average from $10-$20 pp, but I was HUNGRY. ?Hope to bring company next time so I can try and hopefully enjoy their Sake! ?

Pretty nice place! Have plenty of parking areas During weekend, there’s waiting time for about 30 mins so be prepared for that! However, food is delicious and servers are very friendly as well.

I travel for work and eat at tons of random sushi joints. This place has some of the tastiest flavor combos I've had as well as very high quality fish. The rest of the menu looked awesome as well. Will definitely be eating here every 6 weeks throughout my travels!

The char siu is great value, esp during happy hour. Brussels sprouts and chicken karaage are also good. Kaisen don is a little over $2 a piece, very worth. As is the sashimi sampler. The creme brulee dessert is so-so.

Found this while searching my car gps system. It is near the interstate and easy for access. I enjoyed the serendipitous discovery. I had a roll, miso soup, and seaweed salad. My waiter was fun and inquisitive. He picked up on my Virginia accent and we had a pleasant conversation.

My daughter and I tried this place for lunch as we were craving sushi and someone had recommended it. Glad we did. Food was good and friendly service.

This was the worst service I've ever received in Austin. Waited over a hour for 2 rolls of sushi along with other food items with a table of 7. Some items were forgoten. Server never checked in with our table and was extremely rude. Once we received our rolls, we had to rush to eat since our friends were already finished and ready to leave. Because of this the food didn't even have a chance to be enjoyed. When asked to talk to a manager, our table was further ignored, until he arrived at the table and we were told other people had to wait too. We will never return here.
