Really really *really* good ramen. The broth is profound (?), the pork is great (they char it. who knew it would make it so cool!), and the variations are distinct and, you guessed it, great. The specialties (bulgogi ramen!) are even greater.Yes, I'm going overboard, but hey, this is excellent ramen!
Bento box lunch special is a good portion. Great flavors not to heavy. Great for a quick delicious healthy lunch. I'd go back.
Cheap food that charged way too high.and they don’t even make it right~ fried calamari are using the wrong bread crumbs. No fresh vegetables, just bunch of factory-made pickle(in very weird color, definitely not natural in their noodles and don.I got some purple pickled gourd and Daikon radish dyeing green... just bad~ and the meat just a little better than canned meat
The food was very tasty and the service incredible. Waitress actually remembered us from months before. It is very clean and the price is good.
IchiUmi came in clutch as I was struggling to find a place that was open the day before Thanksgiving to have a late dinner. I had gone to two other places that had closed early. I called and was so relieved to hear that they were still open! I immediately headed over and my order was ready within 15 minutes. The staff members were very courteous and kind to me. I would definitely revisit! I’m happy to report that the food is excellent as well. We ordered takeout; the broth was well packaged to prevent spills and everything was fresh.
Best ramen ever! I don't even care for ramen. I ordered ramen for my kids, but decided to test it out and ended up eating most of it. Definitely will be my ramen place if I lived here, with that being said I wished I had places like this where I'm at.
It so hard to find Sakitori in Austin and when I saw it one the menu here I had to get it. The steak was the best by far. The dumplings were so good as well. The chicken wings were not for me but I will take them home and I am sure my kids will down them quick. Lol
Hands down the best spot in Austin for ramen, don buri or anything they have on the menu. Great food, great service and a great experience.
Very underwhelming food across the board. Do not recommend. There’s much much much better ramen and Japanese food in this city that’s worth going out of your way for.
Absolutely delicious. I had the red tonkotsu ramen with enoki and fish cakes, I was suprised at how spicy it was but not overwhelmingly so. Everything was fresh, really good value for the size bowl you get. Loved the flavor of the broth and meat was good too, a bit undecided on how I feel about the noodles though - not the best I've had but not bad either. My server was so kind, love that she didn't disturb me while I ate my ramen and promptly checked on me afterwards. They had just opened up for dinner service and I was the only person there at the time, even though it was a weekday I think this place deserves to be busier. Highly recommend to anyone who loves ramen!
