Truth is that I've never been a huge Hopdoddy fan. The crowds and the hipster vibe have often turned me off. But this location is different.Stopped in for a Tuesday night meal with family and I ended up changing my plan for a burger and replacing my dinner plans with their chicken tenders. I'm glad I did. Their chicken tenders are elevated. In other words, they don't taste like fast food. Combine them with their caffeinated BBQ sauce and you've got probably the best chicken tenders around. And needless to say, their cooked to order fries are excellent too. My dining companion raved about her burger as well.I was also impressed with the genuinely warm staff we encountered. Both times that our food was brought out, we were asked if we needed anything else and reminded of what condiments were available. Unlike a lot of trendy places, the staff at this location appreciates your business and does their best to make you feel welcome.I need to go back and try a burger, but the chicken strips may be hard to pass up.
Everything I have tried has tasted fantastic. Lots of options, great flavors and a decent price. Our first trip here the service wasn't great, but our second time the service was much better. The food both times was delicious!
The first craft burger that I tried in the US and it was mega! I ordered a “good night” burger that ended up being a “good morning” since they offered the possibility to add egg and bacon... Best choice ever!I also ordered sweet potatoes and they tasted amazing! The order line was not too big and food preparation was within an acceptable range.
The burgers and fries from this chain are absolutely to die for! The Primetime is my favorite burger of all time. Each restaurant always has a relaxed atmosphere and is LGBTQ friendly. This specific location was busy on my last visit, but staff were still peppy and kind. My electronic gift card wasn't working with their system, so the manager said he wanted to honor their gift cards and gave our order of 2 burgers and fries to us on the house without hesitation. I highly recommend both this chain and location!
Today I stopped in around 6pm and wow what a dinner rush they have! Everyone here works so hard I see everyone constantly helping others and moving about! Today I had an issue with my item I ordered and though most people would have freaked out with what my issue was and would probably scream at employees I am luckily not that customer! Accidents happen all the time and they tried to go above and beyond to make up for the issue at hand. I absolutely love this location. I turned down the refund and thanked them. I will absolutely be back!
It was a nice day to explore the Triangle seeing what businesses were here along with parks and residential. Afterwards we ended up at Hopdoddy to rest before heading back home. The inside was much larger than I expected where sat at the bar. It’s not a big one but otherwise there was a lot of seating here with a patio in the front. I ordered a Modelo draft beer where there was a nice wide range of options and arrived in a large margarita style glass. I looked over the menu but we had eaten earlier. I have been to a Hopdoddy including Lil’Doddy near my home and they do have tasty burgers and fries which comes in different flavors.
Ordered takeout from here many times, this was my first time eating in the outdoor seating of the restaurant. Food is great, just remember to tell them how well you want the burger cooked if you're not a fan of too much pink.
Stay away from this place. Burger was overcooked and burnt and consisted of a lower quality beef than they used to have. The hand-cut fries were the WORST I've ever had. They were stale, dry, and too salty. You could get better fries at a gas station. Very disappointing.
The best burgers in town.
Hopdoddy food is delicious, but the take-out experience is very frustrating. The curbside number does not get responded to, food ends up sitting out getting cold, and drink orders are not ready on time. Eating in resolves all of these issues.
