I like this location. There's a small spot for kids to play and a bar outside as well. The cheese slices are pretty good as well, though I have had some ny slices elsewhere in Austin that were better. Parking is a little tight but overall a really nice spot.
Delicious pizza that is true to its New York style heritage! Home slice is, in my opinion, hands down the best pizza in Austin. I love their margarita pizza, but all of their classics are great (we had the pepperoni and mushroom, as well as the sausage, red pepper, and ricotta cheese). Dining in is a great experience at this location, as it’s less crowded and the wait staff is excellent. The pizza is pricey but well worth it and nowhere else in the area can you get anything quite like it. It is New York style, so it may not be for everyone, but it is great pizza in general as well. I would highly recommend trying at least once in Austin, but it is a classic option for any occasion or to take home!
The sicilian pizza was incredibly delicious. The bread just melts in your mouth and they didn't skimp on the pepperoni either. Definitely check it out when you're in Austin! The other pizza was ok. It was NY style. I'd definitely get 2 sicilian pizza instead.

Perfect perfect greasy awesomeness
We heard this was the best pizza around, and it did not disappoint. We were told there would be a wait, but there were three of us so we ate at the bar. Ordered garlic knots and pizza arrived soon after. We each ordered different slices and dipped them in ranch. DELICIOUS! Crust and toppings were great.
1st time visit for us. We were visiting from out of town and Home Slice was highly recommended from local family. Sure glad we tried it out! We started out with the house salad. Delicious! The Sicilian pizza was perfect! We'll definitely come back next time we're in Austin.
Home Slice was very good for my first time. This place stays packed. Five stars but.... the chicken wings are waaaayyyy too small and barely had meat on them. Maybe this was just a bad batch. However, that did not ruin my visit. Great atmosphere and a very good pizza!
All of austin friends recommended here for me. It was really awesome, i love their pizza and beer too! I'm sure that i will be back soon.
The atmosphere is a bit darker than a usual pizza cafe. Takes on a, "past gone by" look of the old pizza parlors. Great food. Order by the slice- pizza or whole pie. The chicken wings I would say are better than Hooters. Seating at the bar (full bar) or bring a group and enjoy the meal and the company.
