Ice Cream Shop Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Ice Cream

I’ve previously had a great experience here. Unfortunately, tonight was not one of those days. I want to kindly provide some feedback to help prevent someone else from being disappointed with their service. I waited in line for an hour and saw everyone else in front of me receive their order before I got the other 2/3 items. The cashiers struggled to keep track on who’s ice cream they were serving, so I suggest asking for the customers name and finding a way to be able to call out the name through the speaker. They were kind enough to issue me a refund for the other two items, but I was sad to not have been able to have any ice cream after such a long wait. ?Again, I’m just saying this to provide some constructive criticism.

We went around 9pm on a Saturday evening, a party of 3 was ahead of us in line. This was our first time there. What caught my attention were the several postings of “worth the wait.” I’m not so sure about that though. Literally 35min for 2 ice creams. It didn’t help to see only 1 or 2 employees actually making dessert, while the other was cleaning up I assume for closing which their website says is 10pm. Come on folks, I get you want go home, but maybe a little more focus on completing the $10 ice cream order in a timely fashion.

Their warnings about it taking a long time should be heeded. It was good but just takes too long for us to return. Probably 6-7 minutes per ice cream so if a family of three orders in front of you, you're looking at 30 minute wait minimum.

I was very excited to try this place. Looked super cute, yummy sounding combinations. We got there and there was a sign saying they would be back at 6:30 and at 6:30 there was someone in there but they looked like they could not care less about us standing there. I ordered and the person could not be less interested and abruptly shut the window. But what annoys me the most, is for a $9 ice cream, he did not scrape the spirals tight enough and I watched him throw away 1 of the 5 spirals that fit in the cup. So he threw away - in front of me- 20% of the ice cream. On top of that, what I did get was just mediocre. There are a ton of other places that I’m sure would care more about my business. Won’t come back.

First time in Austin. Had the pleasure of going to Holla Mode. We came here on Thanksgiving and were fortunate they were open. They treated us to a treat. They have some really awesome combinations. Definitely worth a try if you are in the neighborhood.

Have placed online orders multiple time before closing time and have shown up and the windows aren’t open. I called the store and they said my order was “ready” but then I called again and they said the order was put into too late. I wanted some good ice cream but now I can’t get any and i’m sad.

I’ve honestly tried really hard to eat here. For the past two weeks we’ve walked by and they’re never open during hours of operation in the evening. We tried to go during normal hours four times and had a sign saying back at 8, and actually waited and never came back one day.I called 20 minutes ago and they said they were open and I walked over and they had closed saying they’ll be back at 8 on a clock. Either they don’t have adequate employment to meet their stated hours, the employees are closing up shop early or something entirely else but its been really disappointing and a complete waste of time.

Ready for something sweet?Don't be deceived by the low key trailer. The flavor and quality ingredients at Holla Mode, Thai-style rolled ice cream, is more gourmet & seasonal than some restaurants.Key Lime P-ice Cream, with organic coconut milk, fresh squeezed lime juice, and graham cracker crustEff yeah!Ice Cream made-to-order means you know exactly what's in your cone (or cup.) Using fresh, local dairy and organic produce, they mix homemade, liquid ingredients of ice cream on to a frozen, stainless steal surface. Add the topping or chopping of your choice and watch it turn to ice cream before your eyes.

Me and my husband stopped here one day after going to the trail to let our son play. They were really nice & welcoming. There were 3 people in front of us and it only took about 15 minutes to get our ice cream. I do wish we could have gotten more cake pieces and fudge since the rolls are really dense- but that doesn’t take away from how good the ice cream tasted!
