A great venue on the east side. It’s a big open area with limited benches and bar stools that get taken early in the night. Plenty of bars so there’s rarely a line.
On November 16th I had tickets to see Amigo the Devil and IV the strange band and Katacomb’s. They had heavy regulation on who was allowed in because of Covid. I had the correct type of negative Covid test for this show and their door man still wouldn’t let us in. Essentially I feel that since the scoot inn and live nation didn’t let me in despite having correct documentation to get in that they stole 66 dollars from me that night. How is that fair for me the ticket purchaser that I’m out 66 bucks plus the 20 for a parking spot when I did everything I was supposed to. Because of that I will not buy any tickets to any shows going on here in the future, I am bummed because my birthday is August 9th Amigo is scheduled to play here on the August 5th but I will not buy tickets to a show unless I know for sure I’m not going to get stolen from. If my friends in Dallas don’t mind paying for my ticket for Amigos show in Dallas I’ll be going to that one. But because of how you and live nation did me on November 16th I’m afraid to purchase tickets to a show and not get a refund if I’m not allowed in.
The venue itself is super cool, love the aesthetic. You all can go to hell, I will go to Texas, yes slay. Don't buy your booze here, insanely over priced. Paid $38 for two double jack and cokes. I could buy a whole bottle of Jack for that price. Other than that, loved it. Would definitely watch another concert here. Tickets were pretty reasonably priced.
Fantastic venue! Loved the atmosphere that is created when you are having fun and relaxing with friends all being just feet away from the live band!! It's a feeling that you have to experience!! Highly recommend you book your tickets now!!
Really great small venue. You can get very close to the stage. #Spiritualized was amazing!
Love this venue! The ticket prices are really inexpensive (I've paid ~$25 per ticket for shows), and it's a small venue so you can see stage from anywhere you're standing. The staff were all friendly. It is outdoors, but they have heaters on the cooler nights. I had a great time seeing Houndmouth there, and can't wait to see Bahamas and LEON.
I only didn't give 5 ⭐ because the event I attended was at the outdoor venue, and it was 35° in typically schizophrenic Austin spring weather. Great layout, not a bad SRO in the house, multiple bars around the GA area and some seating in the back.
Beautiful outdoor music venue. Good location. I'm struggling to find the history of the place... Says it was established in 1871, and is "Historic", but can't find a Wikipedia page or an "About" page on the website. Also, it's not an actual "Inn". Regardless, it's a cool honky tonk music venue and bar, with a great old times vibe.
Great outdoor venue. Good sound, intimate, sight lines could be tough for short peeps, recommend getting there early if you want a spot up front.
Super cute venue that has a lot of space and easy to navigate. They had a lot of heaters for a chilly night and the stage could be seen anywhere you stood.I’m giving 4 stars because literally every staff member we encountered except for those checking us in were SO rude. The bartenders were incredibly rude when asked if they had coffee and baileys (not a dumb question….. it was 30) then asked if they had a certain type of beer… again met with attitude. Just overall acted as if they didn’t want to be there. I get it. It’s cold. But it’s your job.Overall, loved the concert. The venue is cute. But I wouldn’t choose to go here in my own volition for no reason.
