Tried to go there today however they were not open and did not mention why. I attempted to contact them however no effort was made to contact me back. All it said was that you can close without further notice. I would be more “understanding” of the situation if you didn’t try to gaslight me and make me look like a fool by adding the closing dates after the fact then replying to my review in that aggressive manner.But I digress. Shootz brah. ??
Haven’t been able to try their food yet, bc they are never open ??♂️The hours on Google are incorrect, and their website says they can close at anytime without notice, so I recommend not making the trek here if you don’t live nearby until maybe gas prices go back down lol.
Phenomenal food & even more phenomenal customer service. The lady who ran the food truck was so spritzy and kind-hearted. She really left a great impression on me, and the food was excellent to match it. Can’t ask for more!
Stopped on an impulse and definitely glad we did! The staff are so pleasant and kind, and the food is delicious. We got the teriyaki musubi (so hot and fresh that we had to wait to eat it), li hing pineapple (very refreshing), mac salad (tasted so fresh, with a hint of sweetness), and the butter mochi. The butter mochi was absolutely the icing on the cake! It had such a delightful taste and I'm tempted to go back and buy a whole pan. :) Definitely looking forward to going back and trying some of their poke options on our next visit.
I highly recommend this place. I've been eating here for a while and I'm finally taking the time to leave a review. Love, love, love their beef bulgogi with 2 scoops of rice. The topping they put on the rice is delicious. I also tried the spam musabi(?) for the first time. I've had spam at other places that was too salty but this one was DELICIOUS with a teriyaki glaze. I tried it while still in the parking lot and had to run back to tell the chef how good it was.In addition to the delicious food, the team working here is so pleasant and great to interact with. Ordering and picking up food is just a short interaction and their friendliness really shines through.
Not only is the food incredibly delicious and fresh, the owners Lauren and Jay are wonderful humans! They are my no.1 go- to for authentic Hawaiian food in Austin, TX. Also, I love their Shoyu poke and their bulgogi and mac salad - so tasty and super flavorful
So much flavor in everything! You’re gonna want extra Mac salad… trust me. The worst part of my meal was when i realized I don’t live near here and can’t get this food every other day…
This food is amazing! We ordered catering for a party and it did NOT disappoint. Everything on the menu is great. Lived in Hawaii and I can say this is authentic “plate lunch” hawaiian food!Good grindz brah!
Excellent food and very friendly owners here as well. My favorite is the pork kimchi fried rice and my wife likes the various poke (spicy, teriyaki, etc) here.Not only is the pork fried rice amazing, but it's enough to fill me for three meals!Their shrimp tempura is super tasty as well, as are the egg rolls.Very happy to have discovered this little gem of a trailer, and doubly happy that it's so close to home. It's a quick Doordash delivery, and a SUPER quick pickup. I placed tonight's order over the phone and they said they'd have it ready in 10 minutes. Sure enough, it was.Highly recommend this place!
