The company I work for receives catered deliveries and every time Happy Chick's is ordered there is no left overs. So I choose this location as a date night. Upon arrival the location appeared to be closed. I said we'll let me try the door. Once I opened it, I was thrilled to finally try their food. Sceptable to the lack of customers, once we ordered it seemed like the flood gates opened. It was the place to be!! Our food came out hot and fresh!!! All the sides came out hot and delicious. The truffle Mac and cheese is a unique treat. We enjoyed the fries as well, with their tiny hint of sweetness. No Ketchup required!!!Thanks Happy Chick's for our first visit there awesome.

Delicious! Staff was nice and variety of food options

Everything was delicious! The tenders were tender and not over cooked or chewy. You have the choice of 2 different dipping sauces! The french fries are battered which gives them a seasoned flavor.

I'd recommend trying once to cross it off the list. Overall the quality is good but I wouldn't be coming back. Here's why.1. The spicy isn't spicy at all. I'm now curious to see the difference between the regular and spicy.2. But not curious enough to pay these insane prices. Seriously this is the most I've ever paid for 3 tenders and a chicken sandwich. And while good, there really wasn't anything special or unique about it that warranted such outrageous prices.3. Service sucked. For these prices and having the word happy in your name, I expect joker smiles and energy. The dude did not smile, nor ask us if it's our first time, or explain the menu, or engage in any form. I get it, it's chicken tenders, I can figure it out but I have a feeling the sauces are a big selling point and may be the special thing about this place? Wouldn't know from this guy.4. After looking at the many sauces and not receiving too much guidance, we decided on our safety ones - jalapeno ranch and chipotle ranch. Jalapeno ranch was pretty good. Chipotle ranch was a bit runny and the consistency did not work with the tenders. I saw some cool ones like Raspberry chipotle and avocado poblano but didn't get to try them.Overall, it's worth trying once. But I'm sticking to Chick-fil-A for my spicy sandwiches for over half the price and triple the taste and T22/Popeyes for spicy tenders.

Excellent execution on the chick wrap; very tasty. The fries were really good. I will be coming back.I do agree with a prior reviewer of the inside music being too loud.

This is the third chicken sandwhich on our list to visit and it did not disappoint.Clean and friendly, though we opted for outside as the music inside was a little loud and it was nice weather. Surprisingly not as busy as it should be.On the first bite I knew it was going to be a good meal. The seasoning on the chicken is spot on, not overly salty and a hint of sweetness. The food is not greasy and the chicken was moist. The sauces went well with the sandwich and the fries which were cooked perfect. Crispy outside and soft inside.

I have always wanted to try this place. We decided to stop and grab lunch. I liked that the menu was simple. I opted for a smaller plate of chick strips, which was still almost $9 with one side. The other meals came with two sides, Mac and cheese and cream corn. It would have been nice to have some other side options if you were not into cream corn. I was impressed at the options for dipping sauces. That was a nice touch. Unlike other chicken joints, you do not get a roll or biscuit. The chicken was hot and tender. The breading was good and not overwhelming. The seasoning for the fries had a hint of sugar. They almost tasted like I was eating a desert. The Bacon Mac and Cheese was flavorful. It was not swimming in cheese like most places. You might get a little sticker shock after paying over $54 for 3 chicken plates. The service was top notch. The food was fantastic.

Tried this place for the first time last week after work around 5-6pm and there was surprisingly no one there. We ordered the 4 chicken strips meal with the fries, Mac and cheese, and cream corn.Everything was delicious. The chicken was freshly made, cream corn was really good, fries were nice and crispy, and the Mac and cheese was decent.Mac and cheese was slightly cold which was disappointing. The fries though were the surprise when I realized they were seasoned with I think sugar and cinnamon. They kind of reminded me of a churro but in a good way. I do like to dip my fries in ranch but these fries didn’t really taste great with ranch lol the flavors clashed a little for my liking. They were strangely good though.Other than that, it was great and the prices were pretty decent for all of this food.

I’ve come here over 8 times and the food has made me sick 3 of the last 4 visits. The reason I kept going was ignorance on my part to think it was something else giving me food poisoning.Sauces are good. Chicken isn’t greasy. Fries are often soggy. The guy working the counter has only been there for two of my recent visits and he is fairly rude. Forgot something in my order and made it sound like it was my fault. Figure it was a bad day but I felt a little uncomfortable from the stares.

I liked the chicken tortilla soup a lot. The soup had a healthy amount of chicken. More importantly the soup had a healthy amount of poblanos, which made the soup have a stronger taste without making the soup thick.I also had the ATX salad. I liked the avocado poblano dressing and would recommend tossing the salad yourself with that dressing. The salad itself is missing an ingredient or two (I want to say pico & pecans). I might get the house salad next time.I got that salad with two strips of spicy chicken. I agree with other reviewers in terms of the chicken not being greasy. However I couldn't taste any spice and the chicken was dry. There's also too much breading. I get that it's Southern, but I think I've made it with thinner breading. So 3 stars for the good soup, and I probably wouldn't order the chicken.
