Amazing fresh falafel, best I’ve had in Austin! Not a fancy spot for sit down, but clean. Fresh lemonade too. A winner!
This place is amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. I got the lamb shawarma pita wrap for dinner. It’s a huge wrap filled with sliced lamb, tomatoes, onions, and topped with white garlic sauce and hot sauce. It’s really bursting with flavor. Can’t wait to come again.
My first time trying Halal Brothers. I love Mediterranean food! They didn’t disappoint. I had a Gyro Salad and my Wife had the Chicken and Lamb Kebab. The food was plentiful and the taste was good to the tastebuds. The location was small but clean. The service was good and it didn’t take long for our food to be served. Next time I’m in the mood for Mediterranean food, I’ll be back at Halal Brothers
Very good food, highly recommend for quick bites
Best bang for the buck in all of town! What you need to know before coming to this location is that they are open late night hours compared to everybody else in town that is a godsend! You get the best portions for the dollar compared to anywhere else in town their combo plate and beef warmer plate get easily the best protein quantity to anywhere else and they even cooking olive oil instead of cheap vegetable oil or canola oil! Also they sell Maine Root soda drinks which are the bomb and also have some of the best combination sauces for all their plates with some of the best Star and rice to go along to compliment everything else including their fresh saladsAlso I can easily say that I get here the equivalent of what I paid twice for it anywhere else when it comes to the portion sizes and the pricing with great customer support at the front desk to quickly check things in and out also be aware that they do not accept cash it is all by credit card
Don’t even bother ordering online something always happens like they “didn’t receive order” or they are just super busy. I placed my order an hour before I arrived and my order was not received so I had to place my order again and wait over 25 mins to get it. So total wait time was over an hour and a half to get our food. The food is good but it’s a shame the service is not that great.
The food is delicious but the wait time is sooo long
Rating for this place and taste of the food doesn't match, I think Management has changes, we usually go to Halal Time in downtown as it is closed in the morning ordered here and trashed almost everything.Lamb and Chicken is raw not at all cooked.
This is my new local Halal spot! Food came out fast, delicious, hot, lots of delicious rice. No complaints! It's small but plenty of seats/tables. They seem to kill it with online and takeout orders as that's what appeared to be the majority of the line.
Slowest service with mediocre food. For self service restaurant, our food was ready after 30-40 min. Combo over rice was extremely overrated. Chicken was pretty much tasteless. It tasted like it was boiled and sautéed which was bland. We also had to-go order which wasn't ready for another 40 ish minutes. When we went to check on the order they had it ready for several minutes but never called us. Dolmas and Falafels were good. Of all, the most annoying part was they were drilling the wall in the kitchen which was very ignorant of workers since they should have done that when there were no customers. It was pretty loud, disturbing, and annoying.
