I forgot who our waiter was but she was so amazing and helpful
We have been here several times at the Austin chain, and it has severely gotten so poor this time we only had appetizers and left. We waited 20 minutes for a table even though the place was empty, although this is understandable. However, the waitress was extremely unfriendly. I donât think I have ever been so dismissed at a restaurant, especially somewhere decent like this. We ordered Takoyaki balls and they were FROZEN COLD in the middle. It was awful and we left shortly after that. The chains in Houston are amazing, but this place is awful. I am not sure what changed, but they lost a loyal customer and we will NEVER return. Please pick somewhere else that will not serve you frozen food.
Food was amazing, would definitely go back! Our server seemed bothered by having tables and was more worried about mingling behind the bar.

The in table burner wasnât working and staff couldnât stop themselves from bringing food despite this fact which made for a frustrating experience. It wasnât bad but none of us felt great the next day - either way too much neat or we just didnât cook it enough. The flavor wasnât outstanding either. Nothing was awful but for the money I wouldnât be here especially if you go for the experience and the experience isnât good.

We made reservations and were seated promptly. Unfortunately, we were seated right next to the door and it was extremely loud. There were people standing right next to our table waiting to be seated which was uncomfortable. As far as foodâ¦The salad, hot pot rice/beef, and roast beef sushi were good. However, only the âupgraded meatsâ for grilling were actually palatable. The other meats were extremely fatty/chewy/grizzly, we only had a couple bites of each. Our server was knowledgeable, thorough, and pleasant. He actually made the evening pleasant. Also, itâs a different and fun experience to have a grill in the middle of the table. We enjoyed those aspects. Overall, we will go again, hope for better seating, and order only the upgraded meats.
