This Matties in Austin it's a great place for brunch and I'm sure any meal

We started our evening at the bar and Akash made us beautiful and tasty cocktails along with tips on where to go while visiting for my daughter’s 21st birthday. While eating he brought a list of all of the places to visit!! Talk about Southern hospitality!! And the atmosphere and food were amazing!

I would just like to give a shout out to Andie Bartlett.I inquired about Christmas Day Brunch after finding Matties online.I will be in Austin from Chicago over Christmas visiting my Daughter and wanted a nice place reserved for Christmas Day.Andie contacted me, followed up, and made the whole thing nice and easy.Texas Hospitality. Thank You.

What a colossal screwup! We had reservations here for 5pm on Thanksgiving Day. When we arrived they informed their last seating was at 4pm. Seven people looking forward to a special meal & they never informed us. Never again will I patronize this restaurant.

I’m thinking of all of the events I could hold here.

Fantastic. Just go and get your mind blown. Consistent and great for special occasions.

The perfect little hideaway. The hospitality is truly wonderful and the food is always amazing no matter your choice.

We came for the weekend brunch and had a stellar experience. First off all of the staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was delicious (is an understatement) we ordered the biscuits, French toast and fried chicken eggs Benedict. We sat inside by the window and enjoyed the atmosphere of original charm of the house. I appreciated reading the story of the family that lived there and their daughter Mary who started entertaining and cooking for guests. I think they have done an incredible job keeping with the original idea of Green Pastures!

It was a very bad experience with the staff, we sat at the table and waited for more 30 min and no body thinking to ask us our order, the waitress walks near us for 5 time and doesn’t care about asking what we want to eat , and when asked the lady on front desk she side this is strange and promised that some one is going to take care about our table , waited another 15 min no body showed up they just took care about the tables around us , I left with my family and really upset,

I was looking forward to Easter Brunch at the beautiful place I had visited years ago. After building up the fabulous place and food to my husband we were excited for our visit. The grounds were beautiful and the peacocks were strutting their stuff. After being seated at a corner window with view we were presented with a very disappointing menu. I did not expect the bountiful Brunch had enjoyed before due to COVID but I was highly disappointed in the minimal menu, Breakfast platter of bacon and eggs or sausage, a couple of other Breakfast choices and a Shrimp and grain bowl which was basically a green salad with 3 grilled shrimp for $24 . Oh there was a hamburger as a entree. I don't know where the menus you see featured online were. It was a rather disappointing Easter Brunch but thank you to the peacocks...they saved the day.
