Delicious and great service!! Every time the waitress wasn’t helping us she was cleaning, the place was spotless! Roll and sushi were amazing, I highly recommend the OMG roll, husband said the salmon sushi was incredible and seaweed salad and miso soup were both perfect. I can’t believe we’ve been missing out.
Great little hole in the wall. Reasonable prices with good portion sizes. Garlic Edamame was amazing!
Great service and great food portions. Sushi was fresh and delicious.
My new favorite. Food is clean, fresh with reasonable price. And the service is super nice. BTW , try the kids menu, my daughter and I love it!
We tried this place for the first and last time. Ordered off the menu devices which were only offered in one language. Only one person spoke a little English, but only VERY little. We ordered a la cart. Were asked if we wanted the all you can eat special by 2 different employees who came to the table. We told them each time no, we did not want all you can eat. We also attempted to take things off our a la cart menu when we ordered 2 of something by mistake. There was not enough communication because the idea is to order from the device and then it comes to the table via an employee. We attempted to pay our bill/check, which we were never allowed to view and agree upon the charges. We do not agree on the charges. We tried 3 credit cards, but there machine was not taking any of them. We attempted to pay the only euros we had and then come back with more. They would not accept that, instead held us hostage when we go into the elevator and would not allow us to leave, they locked us in. The restaurant would only allow one of us to leave, holding the other hostage until the other returned. We got on the elevator to leave to go to ATM but the employee stood in our way. This was our first time in this town, and we were not comfortable going alone, in the dark, in the rain, with no map or way to get to an ATM, even though the employee said it was very close. (It was tough enough with the 2 police officers.) We would not agree to be held hostage any longer so we agreed the police should be called. We tried to explain that we at no point agreed to pay for "all you can eat" and we specifically ordered each item separately. One of us went with the police on an adventure to 3 ATM before one would work to get the money. We should have never done that. We never agreed to pay for all you can eat and we ordered and ate very little. I had a small fish fillet and a limoncello cocktail. My daughter had edamame, 2 small sushi plates and a warm saki. OH, we also tried the desert samples, which we never asked for but kept being told to go see the desert bar. Very angry we were held hostage until we paid for items we did not want or receive. Never should have done that and never will again. The 2 men who held us hostage were not nice at all once they were not able to process our payment. No fault of ours that they could not figure out what was happening with the credit card machine. Our 40 euros would have been enough to cover what we ordered, we never should have been tricked into paying for something we did not agree to pay, and we obviously did not eat "all you can eat"....what a rude scam to pull on visitors and tourists of your city. side note: the police were opposite of the restaurant employees/owner/mgrs., who were unhelpful, rude, unscrupulous and deceptive. Police were friendly, funny and tried to help! Dont ever allow people to coerce you to do anything you do not want to do. And do not pay for bad food. Send it back. If they cant get it right, leave. Call the police if you are held hostage and treated like prisoners. We may contact the news/media about this story. There were cameras all over the restaurant to prove our night was wrong on every level.
Fantastic food and service! Some of the best katsu don I’ve had in a while. The bento box gives such variety and so much good food. Everything we ate was delicious!
The best sushi I have had! Service was great and owners are sweet. I recommend this place!
I have never had a bad experience with Goya Sushi until today (Superbowl Sunday). The tuna roll i ordered had red food coloring dripping from the tuna inside the roll and tasted very fishy.Very disgusting, ruined the meal.
This was a cute lil place. It’s a wife and husband I think. We ordered a few sushi rolls. The one topped with Bulgogi was so good. I had the Bulgogi dish and it was so good with the sides! I felt like it was my oma’s food!
Wanted to like the place more due to it being open on Thanksgiving and run by a lovely older couple. Went here because the menu was large, but that's probably part of the problem for a small establishment, they can't make everything good. The shumai was bland, not even warm, and had too much dough compared to shrimp. I ordered the Korean ramen, which I'm pretty sure is just the Shin Ramyun brand instant noodle. Other than the exact taste, it's obvious due to the small pieces of vegetables and meat you typically get in instant noodle packets. My wife ordered the spicy tofu soup, but said it didn't wow her. Will give them props for a good amount of good side dishes with the soup. We may come back, but definitely not for the Korean food. They may be better off to not offer too much stuff on the menu and focus on what they are good at.
