I was on my way to Tsaocaa, but decided to read the reviews. A lot of people were disappointed & Some guy on there referred Gong Cha ,So I decided to give them a try. It’s my first time trying the drink. I went with the pearl milk tea with 50/50 sugar. It was delicious! Fast & friendly service! Gong Cha and Starbucks are both 5 mins away from me and I’m sure I’ll be coming here more!
Decent place. They have some board games too so that was nice to keep company. Four star because the dink I had had such generous amount of the toppings I wanted, it’s nothing but sweet and very little juice. Everyone else enjoyed their drink so that was good. I didn’t post my drink photo cause I end up throwing it away but the ice coffee was good.There’s parking lot so finding parking was easy and short walk.
I never do reviews but I decided i needed to. It took 10 minutes to make one drink with three worker’s standing around. The workers were to busy making there doordash orders right when the order comes through over the priority of costumer in store. On top of that I asked for boba and they completely forgot and was saying I never said it and was going to make me pay for it while trying to argue with me.So now i’m currently drinking literal water down milk. A CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!! I don’t think i’ll ever come back to this place. So sad they always had good service at least when they had boba. I’m done officially canceling this place.✌️
Best bubble tea I've had in the Austin area. They make the tea so fast that its out in seconds.
One of the best boba teas in North Austin, beats Teapoica and kung fu by a long shot, the milk foam that can be added is amazing(matcha milk-foam is my favorite). The prices are great and they have a wide variety if flavors and styles of teas and smoothies. I wish they had baby bobas but they’re tapioca is great its got a great texture compared to other tapiocas. Staff is always friendly and helpful and they have games to entertain while you enjoy your drink.
A warm and cozy place to hangout with friends. Nice ambiance and really nice teas as well. They have many toppings, apart from the regular pearls(boba). We tried the Carmel milk tea hot and earl grey tea with 3 J’s(toppings). The caramel tea was really good, nice consistency and taste. There were a couple of games to play as well.
Gong Cha serves hot and cold bubble tea and limited coffee drinks. The large size is surprisingly big. There are tables and lounge chairs so it's very comfortable. No food.
Very fast service. It would be nice if there's online order. Fruit teas are pretty good.
I enjoy many boba teas, but Gong Cha is worth driving to despite being fifteen minutes away. The store is always immaculately clean and the drinks are of a better quality than most places. The also offer to customize how much ice or sugar to add.I have only tried the dirty brown sugar milk tea with boba and loved it (dark creamy chewy molasses flavors), but it is interesting to hear people raving about their particular favorite drinks.
My most favorite boba shop. I've tried multiple different places, thinking I found the best, but my boyfriend bought me Gong Cha as a surprise about a year ago and no other place can compare!The boba pearls are made fresh every 4 hours and taste incredible.*Heads up: they don't use "fresh" fruits, if thats what you're looking for. The flavors are either in syrup or powder form, but they are fresh, delicious, and vegetarian! :) Strawberry, grapefruit, and mango are the only flavors that come in a pulp.The milk teas are not made with milk, but instead a PCP powder, and if you're lactose intolerant, you can request a tea latte (pure tea with selection) and sub in almond milk or soy milk!They also have alternative sugars like Splenda and Stevia, and are glad to answer any questions you may have.They have board games like chess, Uno, and charades for those dining in, and a whiteboard to personalize your experience!If you'd like to try toppings just ask, and they'll get it into a sample cup for you to enjoy; I love the heart jellies the most! :)Overall, they are the most friendly and helpful establishment I've ever gone to, and I love just hanging out there and chatting with the employees! :)
