The service was great, and the tea was wonderful!!
Boba pearls were unconsistently cooked and for some reason my drink had an aftertaste of stagnant dish water (tasted like how stagnant dishwater smells). It was a slushie so it couldve been from a dirty ice machine or something too, or just a general poorly kept water supply. Makes me question their sanitation. Would not recommend.
My girlfriend and I love gong cha. Our go to are dirty brown sugar milk tea and earl grey with egg pudding
This lemon ai-yu white pearls is ridiculously good I'm like losing my mind a little here... I got 50% sugar and less ice, and it tastes the perfect amount of sweetness and combined with the sour bits of lemon zest I don't get tired of it. The pearls and pudding add different sensations for my mouth to experience insuring each sip to be full of something unexpected. The cup was filled to the very brim when I got it, just the largest amount you could possibly add without the top overflowing when you puncture your straw, but after writing this review it's almost completely gone...
I get bubble tea every week and this was my worst experience yet. The night shift I’m assuming she’s white and was wearing a gray shirt and black sweats no mask was so rude. I get it was late but even the other staff were tired and didn’t have her nasty attitude. Not her aggressively scoping ice like the ice hurt her slamming drinks like sit down somewhere you work customer service. Her whole body language was nasty. Gross. If you’re gonna wanna be mad while working at least put on a mask to hide your nasty face. Ordered a dirty boba milk tea tasted like gross for one and looked gross. If your going to advertise is one way give it to me that way. No body told nasty face to shake my drink for me so I’m not sure why she did. Once again this is a customer service job so I don’t get what she was expecting already missing Tiger sugar smh cocos it is at least they’re nicer and they work in a hot store. Not her mad like at least you have ac smhh. I could rant more and more. Somebody just fire her ?. Like not her being the only one not in uniform and she still acting mad.
Came here yesterday night and the boba tea was delicious. Probably the best boba place in Austin. Customer service was great and welcoming. The cashier she gave me samples of the toppings. Drinks came out fast
Don’t listen to these bad reviews some people have never worked food service and don’t know how it works. Boba was delicious. Ordered the dirty brown sugar milk tea. Customer service was great! Only thing is that the boba pearls are a little warm and had to wait a little longer for my drink. thanks
The bubble tea is really solid, my first visit took a long time to put together four drinks. That might not normally be the case though.
former employee here, please dont waste your money here. they literally dont pay their workers at all. I worked for about 6 weeks while only getting payed some 100-110$ in CASH for the first days of training. thats it. i had to leave after realizing they werent gonna pay me. I kept trying to bring it up to the manager too but everytime I did, they would deflect and try to tell me how I was doing my job wrong. now if I were the business owner, I'd definitely prefer just paying my workers, over wasting thousands of dollars on lawsuits for wage theft.
3 stars because the boba is actually good. Went here today to let my sister try bubble tea for the first time. I brought her here specifically because this place got the best Taro slushees hands down. However idk who was working here but she was a b**** for no reason. Like girl I'm not the one you should be mad at if you're having a bad day. Didn't hand me a straw (that's kinda behind the counter) and slammed my drink on the table both all 3 orders. I even tipped and had a positive attitude when ordering. Management should check her because best believe the next time I will. Stay blessed tho. 7-28-21 around 3pm Asian girl in brownish shirt if management is wondering. Worked with a male coworker and he was nice tho.
