Best and authentic tea in Austin so far.. a must-stop for us when in the Domain / N. Austin area. Mango Green tea at 30% sugar + boba never disappoints ?
First time ever trying it and I was surprised at how good it is. But I always see people with these type of drinks and I have wondered about them. So glad we found where to go. It’s definitely worth trying.
The flavors are exotic and too tasty that makes you want to try it all at the same time. They even give you the option to customize ice and sugar level for your drink which should be asked everywhere.
The man at the front (the man with round glasses) was unnecessarily sassy and rude. The boba was alright, but the bad service made the experience worse. The general crowd seemed to be agitated against him as he gave rude service to all. The manager should discipline him, I as a restaurant manager for 25 years would never put up with such rude behavior. Thank you for reading, please take my word to heart.
Very fast and efficient service. Drinks were made flawlessly and had lots of options to choose from. They also provide an app that you can use to order ahead for even quicker service. Seating area is a little small, but still a cool place to hang out and chill while enjoying your Passion Fruit Green Tea with Pearls!
I honestly don’t know what ‘gong cha’ means so when going in I was relieved delightfully that it was drink shop. The menu was easy to understand and the drinks were reasonable. Would love to see some cleaner employees though. Since covid is still rampant I’d love to get my card back with clean hands and not dirty hands/fingernails/fingers.
My sister in law introduced us to this place while we were visiting Austin. Kids and wife loved it. Highly recommend. The Domain shopping area is awesome!!
My husband and i went to gong cha Domain on Saturday evening, Nov 8, ordered my favourite brown sugar milk tea, large, light ice, with double pearls and he had same drink as me with regular pearl. Drink has always been delicious, main reason we always go back there however service is completely poor. When we got our drinks, we politely asked which one is double pearls, and staff named John told us none of drinks, they both with regular pearls. We explained nicely one of drink should come with double pearls then he gave us attitude that shows he doesn’t care and told us they didn’t charge us with double pearls. Apparently the guy (Tran) didn’t ring our order properly yet they blamed us to speak louder when ordering. This kind of service doesn’t deserve tip. I don’t mind to pay whatever to get my double pearls, just be professional, don’t tell me to take the drink that I don’t order.
My drink tasted like a strawberry cheese cake in a drink! Definitely recommend this place. Jaden makes the best drinks ask for her ☺️
