good selection of food and desserts
These people work so hard! Best servers. (Too bad people at full service restaurants don't work this hard.)The salad bar, chili, blueberry pie was good. Love that they have no sugar added options. Wish there was one sugar free dessert.I didn't love the taco meat this time and normally it's a go to. I left it on my plate. Hate to do that.Amazing how much food they must make each day.
The service was okay. Some trays that should have been switched with a new tray of food were being left out too long. It's as though they're waiting until every bit of food is cleaned out then they replace it. My sibling got sick and couldn't sleep at all that same night. This is the only place we went out to eat that day so it's safe to assume Golden Corral did not take all the right measures to ensure clean and edible food is being served.
Very disappointed!!!!!! This is one of my most favorite places to visit. The staff was awesome, no problems there. I was extremely disappointed with my food. Presentation was great, made my selections easy. When I took the first bite it was COLD. I'm talking about fried chicken not a salad. I went on to the other choices and the same injustice. I was taught that you have to eat what you serve. I couldn't do it.
If you're having a hard time finding something to eat and can't make up your mind you can always find something to eat at Golden corral from steak to pizza. No matter how big your appetite is you will never go home hungry. Tastes as well as any other average restaurant but a whole lot cheaper.
It was of course, dinner time, meaning very busy and the food was still great. It's a good place to come and eat for the entire family. I'm always eating at a Golden Corral whether in Houston, Austin, or Lake Charles, my family and I could never be tired of them
The worker (lady)that was in the steak area needs a bit more training. She kept overcooking steak when people people didn't want it that way , she would even make cut marks on the meat so it could cook through more. Even the other meat they had available in that area was overcooked making it dryer. Other than that everything else was decent.
Loved it! Our servers were wonderful, helpful and kind! It was my Partners Birthday and we enjoyed our visit, food was delicious. Will be coming back, soon!!
Enjoyed the great variety of food stations, clean. Wait staff right on, bringing our refills, warm bread, notified my son when the steaks were being brought out. Food was great.
I don't come here often but I typically come at least once a year on new years day because of a family tradition of eating certain foods and they have everything I need without having to cook it and man they do not disappoint! It's far better than I remember. Idk if they stepped it up or if I was just really hungry but I have to give them 5 stars from start to finish. The server was really nice and attentive too!
