Japanese Poke Ramen

Usually people only order Japanese food in this restaurant, but as an old customer I would like to share a private order of mine. There's a out-of-menu dish called Guo Bao Rou that you really need to try it. It's very authentic Chinese style honey crispy pork BBQ. As a person who came from China, I can tell the chef is really a King of Guo Bao Rou!!!

Food was tasty. I ate miso ramen with beef chashu. The meat was tasty, but some slices were too thick and chewy and the broth was bit too salty for miso. They also have tasty takoyaki, very good.

The food was sub par. I ordered the Poke bowl. Even though they advertise freshly caught fish, I could of felt some of my fish frozen and had that slightly older fish taste. My girlfriend ordered the teriyaki chicken, it was overcooked. The chicken tasted old. Not designed for high volume. The line is a slow point and not designed for walk up ordering. I don't think I'll be coming back. Hope this helps anyone checking the place out. Go inside Hmart you will have better luck

One of my new favorite Ramen places, thank you for bringing good Ramen to Austin, and not Ramen T., that place does nothing for me. This place offers Shoyu Ramen which is a lighter soy broth compared to Tonkatsu Ramen which tends to be a thicker, creamy. and rich broth. The noodles were perfect quality which were firm but not too raw. I got the pork belly meat which was thick cut and big. Little chewy but still good. Prices here for Ramwn start between 10 and 16 bucks which is a solid deal. I highly recommend this place for Ramen or Yaki Soba noodles.

I really enjoyed my Poke bowl and my son got Ramen. The staff was friendly and helpful when trying to decide what to get. The food was flavorful and huge. We both couldn't finish our food.

Great tasting ramen with generous char siu pork.

So we had high hopes for this place. They were really nice but the food not so nice. The broth was okay, the noodles tasted like they were the regular noodles from the packages we see in stores. My husband had the shrimp miso ramen and I had the chicken broth with chicken. The shrimp was over cooked and rubbery and the chicken just didn’t pass the vibe check. It looked good but….it just wasn’t. I’m trying to be honest without being rude or mean. I did like the setup of this restaurant :)

Awesome ramen! The woman at the front was super kind and patient. Helped us with our first time visit. We ordered the ramen pictures on the wall of the pork and chicken. Rich flavor of broth, ramen, and meat. Fresh and delicious. Our food was ready in a matter of minutes. When you walk in go straight to the back to put your order in. Small cozy atmosphere without the feeling crowded. Loved it here. Can’t wait to come back!

I tried this place on a whim, hoping for some delicious ramen and egg rolls.Entering the establishment I was instantly greeted by a large amount of unbussed tables, not uncommon but a solid indication of the quality yet to come.Nevertheless I approached the counter, ordered a pork belly ramen with tonkatsu Broth and egrolls. I bussed a table in the dinning room and sat down. The food came out shortly after, the ramen coming jn a neat metal bowl and the eggrolls confusingly coming in a tacky disposable paper boat.In spite of the plating, or rather the lack thereof, I was surprised by a delightfully crunchy exterior with a mushy interior. The taste was fantastic, steamed cabbage, carrots, onions, and with an unmissable garlic undertone bringing it all together; i nearly forgot the inside was the consistency of baby food. The ramen, though neatly contained was an absolute travesty. The broth was fresh but bland, the noodles were overcooked, pale, and mushy. They seemed at one time fresh but long since passed thier prime and even had an unmistakable sulphuric taste to them. The accoutrements were uninspired and typical: green onions, an overcooked unwarranted egg, one single paper thin and very small slice of fish cake, and beansprouts.Overall I would say don't come here for ramen, the eggrolls are okay but not work the vision. 2/5

For what it is, it's my new favorite. The food is so very flavorful, fresh, wow Cedar Park I see you! I expect this in Austin but not the burbs. But wait ... There's an H-Mart in the same parking lot so nevermind. If you can buy a live octopus from a store, then their food is fresh (assuming that's their source.)Plenty of seating, plenty of lighting, plenty of options.I recommend this place with [email protected] approved
