One of our favorite places to go and bring visitors too. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Great patio. Fun atmosphere. Recommend parking on the block south or east of the restaurant and walking over.
A good selection of cocktails, food was very tasty but would be nice to have the menu in English as well so we knew what we were ordering. Friendly staff & didn't have to wait too long for food. 8/10 from us
Stopped here for an early dinner. They have a really large open patio with tons of seating and a little DJ booth. Lots of fans down all the ceiling rafters helps keep the summer heat at bay. We had street tacos and they were tasty. They use a verde sauce on them that was a bit too hot for some of our group. Overall a good spot to stop for food.
Great dinner spot with a downtown view. The drinks were tasty! The service was wonderful, but most importantly the food was so good! Would love to go back. The art and color in the restaurant make for a great environment. Even on the patio in 90 degree weather the fans helped keep us co.

This place may not a impressive as others from the outside ( or the inside really) but the friendly staff and great menu make you want to stay for another drink and enjoy the creative cocktails and best beer prices in austin. Everything was amazing from enchiladas tacos margaritas and sides, it made me feel like i was back in Mexico after the many trips over the years.
Absolutely amazing food and margaritas! Everything we had was fantastic and the margarita flight is a must. We did have to sit outside and it was pretty hot but that's just Texas in June... Visit in the spring if you can, otherwise drink quick!
The worst $63 spent!! Service was bad, food is over-rated, and the drinks aren't all that!! Gabriela, you have got to do better.. So disappointed and will NEVER return.. Gave both locations a try and both are as equally as bad..
We expected so much more from this cute little place? the atmosphere is absolutely fantastic but the service was awful and they weren't even busy! We started with the chorizoqueso and it was good. I ordered the poppers combo and the problems started ? The "jumbo shrimp" were more like small/medium and they were supposed to be stuffed w cheese..that did NOT happen, they were fried so hard there was no cheese in sight and they were rubbery and dry as could be. The jalapenos didnt have the cream cheese that was supposed to come w them so I sent them back when our server finally came back around (we had to ask another server) and my bf also got the wrong tacos but when they brought the right ones he really enjoyed them. He still never recieved the cucumbers and extras he asked for. Again, they were not busy at all. The Gabrielas in south Austin looks MUCH better w a much bigger menu. We will give that one a try next ?
Gabriela’s came in as a recommendation for brunch but we couldn’t do it then, so we popped in for dinner. The vibe check test scores are out and this place gets the highest ratings. Definitely a spot for your Instagram feed post. It doesn’t stop there. The food and drinks were up to the mark. Every food order was filling and didn’t feel like they skimped on anything. We also felt the drinks were on the stronger side, which is a plus for many. Reasonably priced and has good options for vegetarians. A win-win for sure.
