What an incredible meal. Full Japanese experience that was authentic as I have been to Tokyo before. The food was really incredible and the service was nice. They catered well to my gluten allergy too.If I was local, I would be back, a lot.

Went looking for sushi and found an incredibly authentic Japanese menu full of new dishes we had never seen before. Sat at the Bar and Brandon was the best guide ever. Highly recommend!

I can’t even say enough of how good this was! Amazing flavors, super fresh fish and just as good drinks! I would 100% go back and try other things!

Stumbled upon this restaurant while in town for business, and the service and food was impeccable. Dining alone can be awkward sometimes, and the staff was so wonderful and made me feel like a guest in their home rather than a customer. Will absolutely be back when I’m in town, and have recommended to everyone I know near Austin!

Authentic Japanese food (rare in Austin!) super delicious. Service is great and owner is nice!

Their fishmonger is solid and nigiri well crafted, but what really blew me away was their yakitori! And the plum wine infused with earl grey was very smooth and not too sweet. Definitely recommend

This used to be my favorite Japanese place. Used to be.Took my parents who were in town over during covid in 2021. The fish tasted very old on our sushi rolls and everything was slightly stale. All of the old sparkle of their menu was gone and in its place was mediocrity. Not sure what happened, if they can't good ingredients or just didn't appreciate regular customers being able to tell the difference, but I would never go back. Way too expensive to not be good.

Great small bite restaurant. I loved the skewers and my favorite was the salmon skewer. Out of all the small bites, my favorite was the spicy soft tofu. I had to get a second because I enjoyed it so much.

Everything was awesome! It even got high praise from my Japanese mother who said many of the flavors reminded her of her childhood. Great service as well!

We have found our new favorite Japanese Restaurant in Austin. Move over Uchi, Uchiko, Soto, and Musashino.
