My experience was not good at all from the moment my boyfriend and I walked in and was seated. It took almost 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us and take our drink orders. The place was not even packed for a Saturday evening so I was a little taken back by us being ignored. The waiter finally came and his name is David, DO NOT LET THIS MAN SERVE YOU. He was not nice and did not engage with us during the dining experience. I tried to ask him for recommendations and his response was" Everything is good". He did not even try to make us feel welcomed so we just had drinks and one appetizer before leaving and going to eat somewhere else. I will say their Veggie Flatbread was pretty good. My guess would be because we are interracial that we did not get served like everyone else. I'm truly disappointed because I was looking forward to this place. We will not return.
Great layout and design as soon as you walk in. The vibe inside is rather special. Even on a business Saturday night, with a live musician playing, it still felt really private and intimate, with no issues having a private conversation at your table. The summer cocktails are super refreshing and unique. I went with my wife, we took the tapas route. Trying 6 different options, all so delicious and unique. Must try the garlic prawns and patatas bravas. Save room for dessert!
Fine dining food in a laid back bar. Food came out quick but it seemed they were short staffed as our waiter rarely came around unless flagged down.
Service was subpar. I ordered the steak and it wasn't tender despite the plating looking good. If the meat was supposed to be accented by the Romesco sauce, it wasn't the star of the dish. The best tapas we had were the red and blue puntos, the red wine sauce and beef tenderloin was good. However, my guests fish were not good enough. Unfortunately, I don't recommend this restaurant despite its beautiful location and ambience. Those aren't enough to overcome the price point and expected value of the food.

My wife and I recently had lunch at Frog & the Bull and were blown away. Really cool atmosphere, but the food was the star. I had the pollo ahlem and she had the buttermilk chicken sandwich. Both were incredible!! We threw in the bacon wrapped dates too. Staff was really nice. Great spot we’ll come back to often!
Made it there for a bachelorette weekend dinner with close friends. Signed a receipt and tipped pretty well. I was charged over the amount that I signed for and called to chat with the manager. He basically told me he remembers we drank more than what was on my original receipt (even though he wasn't our server) and it must have been charged after I left. He was really rude about the whole situation when I was trying to be understanding. Frustrated that he didn't do anything about it and told me they did not need my signature to charge more to my card. Now I am out of money for things that we did not order/sign for. Would not recommend.
We were looking for something out of the ordinary for lunch and opted for Frog & The Bull. Couldn't have made a better choice. The Spanish/Moorish influence is an awesome mix and reminded us some of our last trip to Spain. I had the Iberian Bangers and Mash, which was excellent. The contrasting sausages (Linguica - a garlicky, lean Portuguese pork sausage) and Merguez (North African lamb sausage) were marvelous and paired with an out of this world red cabbage and saffron mashed potatoes. My wife had the Frango Flatbread and thought it was awesome. With nothing to do the rest of the day, I opted for a Pisco Sour cocktail, which is a little rare in our neck of the woods. The bartender executed it very well, right down to the artistic heart shapes she made with the bitters on the egg white foam. My personal preference would be to stay with simple syrup instead of agave syrup, but the drink was delicious nevertheless. Chef Anthony took the time to come onto the dining floor and talk with us. Very personable and eager to answer any questions you have about the menu. We will be going back soon to try the dinner menu! Be sure to check hours before you go. Like many establishments, Frog & The Bull is having staffing issues in the pandemic era.

We had our first experience at Frog & The Bull last night and it did not disappoint! Hand down our best meal out since we've moved to the area. The atmosphere was great for a special event or outing, but also catered to our small children as well with the great playground and outdoor space. We ordered the prime rib and scallops and they were delish!!!! The chef and staff we're so great and we are excited to come back.
