This is an update to my previous review. The owner assured me this is a one-time mistake, food safety is FoliePop's top priority, and he has already taken steps to prevent the error from happening again. Mistakes happen, but to admit it and correct them is something. So five stars for that.Original reviewForeign object in mini foliepop. Before consuming, look carefully to avoid potential injury. FoliePop needs to review its product-making procedures to ensure similar errors do not occur in the future.Went to the store on Sunday, April 3 2022. To-go order for five mini foliepops and a cowboy. Immediately after biting into the dessert, the hard object was felt. It turned out to be a triangle-shaped plastic object (1 3/8" length x 13/19" width). Thank goodness it was not consumed by children. I couldn't imagine what would happen if they were the ones eating it. The mini foliepops were immediately tossed into the garbage. FoliePop fails to provide safe and hygienic products, despite my willingness to support local business. Plastic shouldn't belong in food, no matter how tasty it might be.
Interesting little concept, I thought, “French street food. The brioche bun was perfectly done! It’s lettuce, with shrimp and lobster, was superb. The French cowboy it was delicious and the brisket it was good as any I’ve had. (Probably a little heavy on the barbecue sauce, though.)My original idea with the tartlets, their bite-size desserts, was to try one of the five I ordered and take the rest home.So…I went back and ordered another five because that didn’t work out the way I thought… LOLOMG - these were absolutely delicious and I will definitely be making the long drive up here from Georgetown to share this with my husband.
We happened upon FoliePop last weekend and the pastry chef came out and walked us through the concept and options. We decided to give it a try and they are amazing!!! Such a delicious, fun, interactive dessert experience. I have celiac disease and I rarely get to eat delicious desserts, but they even had a gluten-free banana bread cake option. Highly recommend, can’t wait to go back and try their sandwiches also.
Cute little pastry shop, we got the Petit Coeur which is a Madeleine lemon cake with a strawberry pop. It was fantastic! Also don't forget to get some tartelettes back home. The young lady at the shop (So sorry we didn't get your name ?) were so sweet and passionate. Love the concept and the style. Will be back again for sure
Very delicious coffee! My favorite cup of coffee I have ever had. It was very smooth and tasted perfect. Definitely worth stopping by!
The dessert we got was at a perfect sweetness level for us. The only complaint we had was the base. It was dry as thought it had been in the fridge for a few days. Love the outdoor seating area. Very cozy especially in this weather (50F s).
Ordered this coffee and I felt it was extremely light. So I opened up the lid and took off all the whip cream and foams and almost half of the cup was empty. I was expecting fancy French style but the presentation was awful too.
Very cool concept! The folie and cracks look like they are from a magazine, and they taste great! The concept itself is cool, and the guys here are very nice and service oriented. The hot latte is to die for :) Best one I had in Austin Metro.

FoliePops is a great addition to the Hill Country Galleria with a very European ambiance. They have great coffee, French desserts, and some savory items. They have outdoor seating in shade with fans. You can watch the concerts, theater productions taking place at the galleria while sipping your coffee.
