We came here this past Saturday night around 6pm. Not too crowded. We had a reservation. The service was not very good. Took forever to get our drinks. Waitress hardly came back to the table so we didn't order get to order many drinks (literally only one glass of wine the entire dinner). The steak and meat options were just ok. The price is good for unlimited options of steaks and other meats, but the flavor and quality was disappointing. No flavor. They also only have mashed potatoes as a side and two other options. Their salad and cheese bar was pretty small, limited options. If you are on a budget for steak, this is a good option. But if you want a great steak with good sides and service, I wouldn't recommend this place. There were 3 of us, we had two drinks, and our total came to $200 - I would have much rather went to Bob's Chop House or Capital Grill. Wouldn't recommend this place.
My spouse and I went here for Valentine's Day and it was truly delightful. The staff there are so courteous, attentive, and kind-hearted. We received nothing but respect and love from their staff. The atmosphere is quite lovely and lively.The food was nothing short of delectable, especially the Wagyu steak from Japan served on a Himalayan salt stone. Let me tell you, once you taste this delicacy, there is nothing that will satiate your new found addiction to the pinnacle taste of steak known as Wagyu.You MUST visit this place to experience their extremely delightful ambiance and partake of a quizine they conjur which will assuredly form a heavenly insatiable appetite.
My wife was in Austin for a conference and on the last night, we decided to go to Fogo De Chao and enjoy a great meal. We’ll, we we very disappointed. People come to Fogo for the meats. We have tried many other locations and have never been disappointed. Here in Austin, very disappointed. The meats were without flavor and in some cases, without seasoning. Most of the meats were chewy and tough. Both my wife and I had to spit out some of the meats because they were so tough. We did report this to the manager but based on other reviews, it appears that the issues persist. Never go there again.
I would highly recommend Fogo de Chao! Amazing food, great service. It made birthday so special! I've been to buffets before, this is so much more!! The food presentation is fantastic, the steaks are all delicious and the price is just right. You get A LOT of food! I want to send a special thank you to Tai who made our experience even better. We felt like family even though he just met us. Thank you for making my birthday so memorable!! We love you ❤

Service was very good but not all the meats on their menu never made it to our table including the lamb. Meat quality was good but I have had more flavorful at other locations. Still a good experince.

Great place to go! I wish I remembered one our waiters name but he took our dessert order. Guy had a smile in his heart that made you feel he was glad you were there. We need more people in the world like him. Thanks for making date night special .
This is fun place to go if you want lots of great food that just keeps coming out. They hosted a very loud, massive group in the same room as us and it was impossible to hear each other. The way the wait staff work is confusing, so don't get attached to your server- you'll have a lot of them at once. We had to ask 3 different people for our wine before we got it. That said the food was amazing and the whole experience was interesting.
Well i tried this one to compare it to the NY Fogo de Chao. Unfortunately no competition for Ny. First the table they sat us at was shaky. Couldn’t not lean on it because i move my friends plates. Second the caperinas cocktails were so sweet and the regular one was so sour. When the manager asked how our experience was going we asked for a new cocktail but less sweet. She never brought it to us and kept walking by us. Clearly she forgot. The meats lacked flavor so i had to add salt on all the cuts. Lastly if you get a seat near the entrance wear a jackets because you will be cold all night. If the hostess has a heater at her stands you know the cold wind gets in and it could be a problem for the client but overall just bad experience. I been to the NY restaurant couple times so i know this isn’t normal service just needs to adjust the service
