Staff was friendly. No line when I was there. Not too long of a wait for the food to come out.Ordered chicken with Thai sauce (vegetables and white rice). The sauce was a bit sweeter than I was expecting. Also seems like they could have successfully covered the chicken and veggies with about 1/2 to 1/4 of the sauce used. The rice was completely soaked with the sauce.Chicken and veggies were pretty good as was the rice texture.Focus on the execution of a chicken and veggie bowl, not a sauce bowl.
The staff was very friendly and helpful but the food was horrible. I ordered General Tao's chicken with white rice and it was so salty that I couldn't only eat a few pieces before giving up. They may have healthy items such as bamboo sprouts etc, but the salt is way over powering. After throwing our food away we went to a restaurant down the street and enjoyed a meal.I don't think we will ever visit another Fire Bowl again.
I love this place, I've gone here a few times and the food never disappoints. I went with a family member that has never been to a Fire Bowl Cafe and they loved it.The employees are really nice
I got the signature chicken stir-fry with ramen lo mein noodles and double veggies. It was a decent amount of food, but it also cost $15. I was expecting the dish to be brimming with veggies since I got double, but that was not the case at all.The first thing I noticed was that it was completely over-sauced to the point where it was actually soupy. On top of that, the sauce had absolutely no flavor other than the spice. To get any seasoning flavor at all I had to add chili paste to it.The first bite I took was of the chicken. It was stringy, dry, and chewy. It was the worst chicken I've had since I ate at Panda Express. The snap peas seemed under-cooked and were also stringy when bitten into. The noodles and other veggies were cooked fine, but there were too many noodles and not enough veggies. The ratio was probably 80% noodles, 10% veggies, 10% chicken. Not a fan and won't be back.
I used to LOVE this place and we went very often!!Until my wife found a BUG in her fried rice bowl, she is 8 months pregnant. This unfortunately has ruined any desire to eat out for a while.Very upset but I feel this place has lost its once great touch
Grabbed a quick lunch here on a Saturday afternoon.Restaurant was clean, service was quick, food came out hot and ready to eat. I had the Sesame Chicken with Fried Rice and my wife had Orange Chicken with Vermicelli Noodles. The sesame chicken and orange chicken were well seasoned, good flavor but we were disappointed in the fried rice which seemed more like white rice than fried rice. I even asked about it because color and flavor was too light. Likewise the Vermicelli was just noodles no seasoning? Underwhelmed with the sides. In comparison to the Fire Bowl in Round Rice, fried rice was much better seasoned there and better flavor and the thicker noodles they do with the Teriyaki Beef or Chicken Plate with spring veggies was a much better dish. Would not do the Sesame Chicken bowl again not as good as their Teriyaki option. Also the Round Rock location has a Black Leaf Hot tea option that was great, but not available at this location. Got the Ginger Twist Tea…not as good.
I love the food here. This has replaced Pei Wei for me. Very good quality. Wish they had more diverse choices but the food is hot, yummy and well fried. Love their pineapple rice and egg rolls
Services was great food came quick tasted good. They need to think about waste, get a compost bin & change the utensils. Much Appreciated
Everyone who works here is very friendly and helpful. This is only my second time being there picking up food to go. It is fresh, hot, and delicious. We will be back.
Holy cow that was a terrific bowl. The atmosphere was wonderful, the music was just right, and the staff we warm and kind. Has a great first experience today, I wish I was local to this area so I could dine here more
