This review pertains to TAKE OUT only. I am a huge fan of Eurasia and give our dine-in experiences an A+. Today I did a TAKE OUT order and am VERY disappointed. I ordered 3 of their best sushi rolls and expected each roll to be in a separate container. Nope, they crammed all 3 rolls into a tray that was way too small & looked pretty terrible. I spent $60 on this order for 3 rolls so the LEAST they could have done was give me better containers and put each roll in their own box! I give this experience a solid F. Look at the photo ??
I've had good sushi, really good sushi, and this was not it. To be fair, the sashimi was fresh and delicious. But this restaurant was listed as the top 15 in Austin. No way. The calamari, recommended by the waiter, was burned and the toughest I have ever had. The scallops were pedestrian and served with mashed potatoes that reminded me of high school boxed pots. If true sushi is the only thing they are good at, that is all that should be on the menu.
It has always been me, my husband and our son's favorite restaurant mainly because of their Indonesian food choices, friendly servers and variety of menus. We've always ordered Indonesian food for the main course but sadly they're no longer serve Indonesian food. Still love and wish the best for them.
Been here evenings, always a great vibe with live music! Full bar and a great Sake selection. Their Hamachi Kama is some of the best I’ve had. Service is top notch and Liz is just amazing make sure to ask for her! She can help with the overwhelming menu choices, always like her suggestions.
Eurasia has been one of my favorite sushi spots for a couple years now. However, service can be spotty depending on time of day. I’ve always looked past it because of the food quality, until today. It’s mid day on a Sunday. Party of 2. We were not greeted until letting someone know one of our water glasses was broken. A random server took our order about 20 minutes in to our visit. A bowl of soup I ordered and our initial drinks weren’t brought to the table for at least 20 minutes. Normally wait time isn’t something I complain about but we were one of 3 tables in the entire place. When we finally got our sushi order, a roll was missing. After realizing it hadn’t been ordered at all by the server, we cancelled it due to the incredibly long wait time we’d already endured for part of our order. The staff didn’t seem too concerned that we had barely been taken care of. The sushi chef was kind enough to make us a small order in exchange for our missing roll and was the only person that seemed to care about our experience. I have loved Eurasia for years but unfortunately don’t think I’ll be returning.
By far our favorite Asian restaurant.Staff are wonderful and the food is amazing. It is getting more popular and becomes quite busy at times.. the Google assistant reservation service works great when you want to have an evening dinner here and not wait
It’s a really nice place to have a quick lunch at. The music was really good and the service was top notch. I believe my star deduction is just because it’s not as good as places in LA. I know it’s located in Austin and it’s far from the sea, however, I can’t bring myself to give it 5 stars. However! Compared to many places in Austin, it’s top among the crowd! Again, great service.
I just love this place. I have spent time in Japan, and this is as good as anything I have had there. The only drawback is the ongoing road construction in the area.
COME HERE!can this restaurant be any greater!!i switched from the bar sitting to a sit down table, got a little bowl of soup (yum! to the chef!) great rolls, fried calamari! my mother received seafood fried rice. CANT FINISH! TOO GOOD! if you’re in austin. VISIT. FRESH FOOD. Big rolls/serving, won’t regret! 1000 stars.CAME BACK! JANUARY 24 2022! I didn’t think it was possible for the food to get better! Thinking of moving right next to this restaurant ?! LOVE THE FOOD! THANK YOU! YES BOTH SOUPS ARE MINE BECAUSE THE FOOD IS A M A Z I Ñ G
Good food. Kinda expensive compared to other places but if you don't want to wait to for it
