Greet meal, mussels where the best and a relaxing evening with friends
We always love Vespaio. We have been going to this restaurant for at least 25 years. Always love it!
Our server was awesome. Food always awesome
Excellent food and service but restaurant is loud, so consider that in case it makes a difference.
The service was great, however, all of our plates were watered down and overall a soupy mixture. The bolognese was just two strips of pasta with a pound of meat on top... while the clam pasta was just a pound of clams with a few strips of pasta hidden beneath... sad to say the food was very disappointing. The wait staff in the kitchen kept yelling out into the restaurant at the other waiters, adding to the extreme noise within the small space. We wanted to love it, but other than our waiter everything was pretty disappointing, unfortunately.
Vespaio has slipped a few notches and it's a shame. We had out of country guests with us and were hoping for some of the old magic. Sorry to report it's not there.
All good but I missed the veal.
Mary, our server was very knowledgeable and attentive as well as all the staff that helped her serve the table. We were warmly greeted as we arrived. Food was outstanding! Yum, we need to try the other dishes on the menu. The executive chef Ryan Samson and his staff know what they are doing! Great flavors.
Great! Fantastic food and service.
Underwhelming. While the service was nice The experience reminds me more of spaghetti factory. The risotto was greasy and not plated like youâd expect when you look at the menu. Guess my expectations were too high. Not sure if the marinara came out of a can but to me it tasted like that.
