Flabio is the perfect person for recommendations. I was craving for enchiladas and he recommended the perfect tasty ones. Y’all this food and drinks are bomb! I’m Mexican and take it from me. If you like Mexican food you will absolutely love this, this restaurant has their unique taste and it absolutely hit the spot.
OMG. It is difficult to put into words how much I love this place. The flavors are so unique and genuine. I traveled to Austin, TX with the goal of eating good, spicy, authentic Mexican food that includes ingredients with no english translation. I am not exaggerating when I say if I was on death row, I would like this to be my last meal. Amazing!!!!

First time here, one of the best Tex-Mex restaurants in town. Everything tasted so fresh including the margarita, friendly staff, and they make you feel like you are home.
First time there. Food was great. All the salsas were lovely (the hot is legit hot but tasty). Decent beer selection. Mixed drinks were meh but bartender said it was his first week so understandable. Cheesy rice was an awesome side… I often put queso on my rice so it was funny to me that I’d never seen it on an actual menu. Liked they used a nice ancho rubs on the meats. All around solid spot.
What a lovely place with great food and great service. The owner himself was making rounds and stopped to meet us, which was incredibly kind. Our two waitresses were enthusiastic and rolled with the punches as our group had 5 kids who were all over the place!Moving to the food, we are vegetarian and they had soo many options! The food was all fresh and tasty, and they had a good variety of sauces as well!Thanks for the awesome experience and wish you lots of success!
We don’t eat Tex Mex. It seems like anything smothered in ???But wow do we love the food here. It’s delicious. Diverse. And fresh. Fabulous unusual salsas and every meal I have had has been wonderful. Not your typical Tex Mex at all. Maybe not Tex Mex at all.However, last nights birthday celebration for 8 found two service spotty and the 3 drink MAX an odd experience.
Eldorado Cafe is a great find. The food is wonderful. The service is beyond any I have experienced. Eldorado cafe is a true local restaurant. They even have vegan dishes so the menu has been created with all tastes in mind. Eldorado cafe is conveniently located right off Mopac. Great for a meal break while driving through Austin. I cannot wait to go back.
Do not get the draw to this place. Thought we’d give it a try since we were in the area. Although the staff was friendly, our server seemed untrained and awkward. He gave only vague descriptions of the salsas, brought one tiny bowl of salsa for three people. We ordered the enchilada clásica plate and we’re definitely underwhelmed. The enchilada sauce on top was flavorful, but everything else was forgettable. The taco was a joke. I did enjoy the margarita. We gave it a try, but will not be back. Too many choices in Austin.
