We got two of the sampler plates and EVERYTHING was delicious, from the garnachas to the freshly made blue tortillas to the longaniza. Highly recommended

Amazing food! Just like you would get in Guatemala. I miss Guatemala every day, and this is the only place I can go to to get that authentic Guatemalan taste. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming, which now that I think about it, also reminds me of Guatemala ??

The food was mediocre, service was bad, waitress came to check on us only once. Not worth the 60 dollars I spent for 3 people

GREAT HOLE IN THE WALL! ?? I came here the day I was leaving the country to go to Guatemala because I wanted to try the food I will be eating. A Guatemalteco / Guatemalan may have a different opinion, but to me I thought (in comparison to the food I had in Guate) this place has AUTHENTIC GUATEMALAN FOOD! Come check it out! If you’re vegan / vegetarian there are options for you! I appreciate that so much.

Fantastic joint and a great find. The ribs were easily the best I’ve had from any restaurant ever and the longaniza was nothing short of phenomenal. I also thought the tamales were outstanding(sorry I didn’t get a decent pic). If you are looking for some outstanding Guatemalan food look no further. Go here and wear some loose pants!

Whether you are planning to travel to Guatemala or not. Maybe you are exploring Guatemala from Austin? This is it!!!! El Rinconcito Chapin is the only real Guatemalan food in Austin! Don't expect anything else but real Guatemalan food. The food is delicious, full of flavor, nice atmosphere, not big yet perfect. They play Marimba music and they have pictures on the tables of what Guatemala has to offer if you visit.❤️We got a spread of delicious food. These are our top dishes: Costilla Adobada, blue corn tortillas, atol de elote, fried plantains, Guatemalan tamales and Longanizas (made at the restaurant), (don't order the chorizo or chipilin as it needs improvement). Thank you to the amazing stuff! You made us feel like we were back in Guatemala. ?❤️

Just found this place. Little hole in the wall (sometimes these are the best places). Never knew it existed and I’ve been here almost 30 years. Tried the torta desayuno. Fabulous! I’ll be back with the family to try lunch & dinner.

I went with a buddy to check this place out and we ordered a bunch of stuff to share. Everything was fantastic. The house made sausage with tortillas was especially nice. Try the appetizer sampler platter as well. It's big and everything was delicious. Those fried plantains though. Mmm...

Very tasty central American food a little bit challenging to order food if you don't speak Spanish so heads up yall

I like the food and the waitresses are friendly. If you want to try Guatemalan food this restaurant is the best for you.
