My favorite bar in Austin! DrinkWell has such a cozy, speakeasy feel and I’m always 100% about the atmosphere. But for all of you foodies, you can’t go wrong here: the cocktails and eats are both equally delicious. The best times to visit are happy hour or for post dinner drinks!
I came here for a late lunch, I was very impressed by the place. They have happy hour on a Saturday, with some really good deals. Jenny was my bartender and she was impeccable! She was very helpful in suggesting drinks that I would like, friendly and took my dining experience to the next level! Issac also helped me out and was top notch as well. The cocktails are absolutely delicious, and carefully crafted. You can tell everyone here has a passion for the craft and it's greatly appreciated. It's great for a start off to girl's night, date night or just a casual hang. It's definitely a local gem and I will return.
Small space with a great atmosphere and even better drinks. Happy hour is definitely worth checking out as well. Cocktails are very well made, balance is perfect and there are even a few cocktails that are specifically offered as non alcoholic so there’s a bit of something for everyone. Onion ash aioli is something I never knew I wanted but 100% need it in my life now.
The best place in Austin for cocktails. Best Gin Gimlets. Wonderful staff, fantastic food and they actually pay their staff a livable wage and offer benefits. I am constantly impressed with my experience and will continue to come back.
The place is very trendy and cozy in a nice neighborhood. They have good craft cocktails some of which can be served as mocktails. I do feel their food menu is a little limited but it's clear this is mostly a cocktail bar so a limited menu is probably not an issue
We came right before the kitchen was closing, but our server allowed us to order some snacks right away. The drinks were excellent and everyone was friendly. The inside was really loud, but there was one perfect picnic table for us outside that on a surprisingly nice evening in Austin made it idyllic. Happy to see this place still thriving!
I have not been to drinkwell in awhile a year or two. i would go there to get well made drinks. stirred not shaken sorta thing a taste that you remembered when done right. vodka Martiny to start usually. i went there tonight and got desent service but the martiney i got had olives with little favor with a bitter taste and assume the juice was added as the dirty part of that matiny. may be the olives were past expiraxion the point is that was the worse drink i have had and left a bad taste in my mouth for hours to come. by the way the price tag on that was $15.00 i did not conplain just got up and left. will not go back again that is for sure
My favorite bar in Austin. I live up north where cool places like this are pretty sparse. I not only go for the drink program, their food is solid as well. They're also the friendliest bunch of busy bartenders around. Come and stay a while, it's small so be prepared for a short wait. I'm a big fan of their chickpeas, as well as their fries. Some day I'll definitely plan on trying their bigger fare.
Best Unique drinks !! Loved the atmosphere and the service tried 5 different drinks off the menu were all Unique and delicious so different and tasteful from the usual will definitely come back to try the rest of the drinks ???
Cozy, intimate, but lively atmosphere. It is very small inside but it’s worth the wait to hold out for a table inside. Cocktails were perfect. Great place for conversation or post-dinner drinks. We enjoyed the Taylor-themed menu :)
