great food plenty porcions and fair prices visiting from California wanted a good Texas bbq, didn't disappoint.
Highly disappointed in the quality of service, price and taste. I looked at the menu and it says $14 for a pound of brisket, I was charged $25. The sausage says $7 a pound I was charged $14. The are falsely adversities the wrong price without any warning. The sausage tasted like the HEB sausage I get for 6 bucks. The sausage is over price and taste regular. I asked for sweet tea and they gave me unsweetened. I was charged 10 bucks for 3 teas. My whole order came to $130.00 and they only gave me 8oz of BQQ sauce, a table spoon of pickle and onion and some nasty sausage. I will say the brisket is good but not that good for 25.00 and they only give you like 3 slices per lbs. I will never go back to this place. They are way over price and with poor quality service.
I have never been so dissatisfied at a dans BBQ. I got old tough skin on sausage, the cobbler had no peaches and the entire container was packed with only the burnt crust and old gel. The 3 beans I go were good though. I don't know what happened but I spent 15 dollars for some nasty no seasoned food! That really turned me off. It's in the back seat. Gonna be feed to the dogs!
Excellent road-side BBQ spot. Lots of great meat and sides to chose from, delicious brisket. Very chill atmosphere, clean and well cared for eating areas indoors. Highly recommended.
What a cute BBQ joint. Order outside. Inside dining, I had brisket and turkey sandwich meat melted in .my mouth. Sides are huge I had fried okra it was fabulous. Husband had burger combo with fries. I wish we would have found this place sooner expansive menu with breakfast also.
Two days in a row they gave me burnt dried out rib. First order on Tuesday return the ribs on Wednesday. Wednesday order was one rib better than the day before. The cashier had the nerve to tell me if I didn't like how they cook their ribs I should order something different. I said if the cook's burn all the ribs maybe they should get a new cook's. Also she need training in customer service. How quietly she forgot who pay her salary. I will not be going back.
I’m born and raised in ATX and this is the best BBQ I have ever had. Tea is fair to midland. Blacks was my favorite before I visited this location.
Was lured out here by their out-dated menu prices. Expect a 50% increase as whats posted in the photos. 16$ for 2 chopped beef sandwiches that don't come with sides or drink is a little extreme. They were pretty hefty though and the staff was polite despite my complaints about the cost. Maybe its just the cost of beef that has gone up. Maybe im cheep. All in all the sandwiches were good.
I went to Don's on 969 purchase the catfish plate special the catfish is fried almost like burnt hard I will not be visiting or buying anything else from that location. If you get the catfish plate double check your fish before you leave
