Stopped by Strait music and found this magical little gem right across the way. We ordered off the lunch menu which was plentiful. My mom ordered the szechuan beef (pictured first.) It was amass with loads of julienned vegetables and had a good balance of spice to flavor. I ordered the garlic chicken. (Pictured second). Sweet, a little spice and savory comfort food at its finest.. The hot and sour soup was delightful- exceedingly flavorful. The crab Rangoon, not pictured was savory and sweet. Now that we are going to be more invested in the music store next door, this will be a lovely new place for us to dive by.
The food and serve were really good. The Pad Thai was such a big serving, enough for two! Our waitress (Ngan) was extremely kind and made conversation with us.
Update Mar 4th:Added 2 more photos on Fried Bird with Sticky Rice (super delicious) and Sticky Rice with Mango. The restaurant has new dishes randomly almost every week so make sure you are in the look out for pleasant surprises.Original Review:1. Very nice people work in this restaurant.2. They cook good authentic Vietnamese food. Fish Claypot and Spicy Beef Noodles is top the chart best in class.3. Pricing reasonable.
I have been here many times. I went before their re-modeling and could not wait to return. They have been refining the menu a lot, especially their calamari which has evolved from the tiny breaded/fried pcs you commonly see (accompanied by a green special sauce I wish would return haha) to big, tender rings with garlic and red onion. Their edamame is also delicious. My friends are fans of the drinks they offer, like the tea and the coconut water. The pho is obviously the highlight. Fresh, big bowls with hearty broth. I recommend the filet mignon variant! It's more than enough to take home and keeps good value.
Saw they had duck claypot and went for it. I was surprised at the presentation and authentic taste! It’s only here for a limited time! They may make it part of their menu if enough people ask for it. Please go try it
Once again a really delicious visit. The food was served quickly and steaming hot and the wait staff was very friendly. The location was clean and the seating was socially distanced. Appreciate the extensive menu and the fair prices. Already looking forward to the next visit.
Food was alright. The Roasted duck bun had a THICK fat layer on it which I’m not a fan of. Pho was decent, again had a super thick “cube of fat” floating in my bowl. Spring roll was okay.Their staffs are super nice tho. For some reasons the front’s giving a zen atmosphere while the kitchen drowned in chaos when I was there.
Delicious pho & very friendly staff.
I had passed this place so many times and never went in. Boy am I glad I did. I loved the pulled pork sandwich. Wow it’s fresh and yummy. I could eat this every day. Prices are steep but portions are large for a lot of dishes. Extremely good! Yum yum I will definitely return. Fast service. Thank you
The seafood hot and sour soup was delicious ... peach ? sweet tea was on point .. very attentive customer service
