Sorry Austinites! You need a better Chinese BBQ restaurant given the recent economic boom in your city. Just take a look at the attached picture of the roasted duck and you know the guys in the kitchen either did not know or simply skipped the most important step of preparing roasted duck - pumping air in between the duck skin and meat. The duck we had was soggy and greasy. I give it 1.5 star for ok taste and 0.5* for only charging extra $9 for 2 bowls of white riceDefinitely not going back!

There's a lot to really love about this place. I like so many dishes, but you do really need to know how to navigate the menu. There's been quite a few dishes that I wasn't so fond of. Once you find a few dishes you like, it's easy to addicted to this place. I go fairly often.

Great tasting Chinese food at a decent price. Nice ambiance.

Stopped by here for lunch and had the prawns and vegetable sir fry. Tried my husbands egg tofu and mushroom. Very good. Rice was a bit dry so we asked them for a new bowl. The waitress was prompt bringing it over. Din Ho is authentic Chinese food, not the americanized Chinese food.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Called ahead and mentioned my allergies - they were incredibly accommodating and even called me back after they saw my order come though fo let me know I needed to make another change to make it allergen-friendly. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking for a caring and considerate allergy-friendly place to eat!

Din Ho has been a Christmas tradition for me going on about 14 years now. I was as pleased as always by the service. But I was disappointed to find that the food quality is no longer up to their past standards. I am not giving up on them yet. I will try them out again before committing another Christmas to them.

Excellent restaurant! Visited on NYE and had the Beijing duck, walnut shrimp, orange beef, and hot & sour soup. The duck was fantastic. All portions were large and came out quickly. Great service on top of the great food. Will definitely be back.

The food was incredible!! I got the roasted duck and my girlfriend got what's called the happy family. Staff were extremely attentive and the prices were amazing. The egg rolls were off the chain as well. Highly recommended

Game changer.. This is the BEST Chinese BBQ in all of central Texas. If you love Chinese bbq duck, pork, and chicken I highly recommend the dinner for four special. Let me tell you I promise you won't leave unhappy and or hungry. My wife (whom is hard to please) said she felt like royalty while we were here. Our drinks never went empty either.

For a Chinese restaurant, this is the closest to authenticity in the US so far for me.We ordered Beijing kao ya, rice with beef stew and crispy noodles with beef. The duck was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor but it looked like it was cooked hours before we ordered it, the beef was so soft and full of flavor, the rice needed more spices but it was ok and the crispy noodles were not my favorite but my wife liked them so much. That’s the first time I eat crispy noodles though and I never saw that in China before. The prices are high but the portions were big and we took home enough leftovers for a day or two. When we were checking the menu before ordering, the staff kept coming to us every minute asking if we were ready to order, I hope they give their customers enough time to order.I was expecting to find braised eggplant or potato stir fry there but they mostly have gai lan options for vegetables dishes. They won’t give you chopsticks unless you ask for them ?
