The Burgers were great! When we first got there the line was to the street so have to say the food must be good if its like that but then a lady comes out and starts to take orders knocking down one car at a time. Wow!!! This lady did her thing. Not only did it make the line move faster the food was delicious!!! Whoever is the manager at this place you have a great crew!!! Keep up the great work! You all are appreciated!!!!

Been at least 20 years since eating at Dan's since moving to Dallas. The service is still great as well as the burgers. Love that the food is just as good as it was back then. Thanks for continuing to serve fabulous burgers and seasoned fries!
I always like Dan's burger. Inside service was relatively quick and courteous with plenty of seating. The drive thru was crazy busy. My burger and fries were great as always.
We come here often and Dan’s never disappoints! Come early because the parking lot is small and fills up fast. I highly recommend the American breakfast!
What's to say it's Dan's, all the locals now that place they serve a really good breakfast too great place and Austin staple for many years. In the fast food market they are the best burger I do believe in and out is a good burger but personal preference.

Okay there are no pies, the title is an homage to Tom Waits classic song “Eggs and Sausage.” (Ask Alexa to play it). Anyway,,,,,,,,,as an out-of-towner who visits Austin often to see family, I enjoy checking out the many different types of restaurants this city offers. I am seldom disappointed, and I am happy to say Dan’s was no exception. Now I am not a burger guy, at all. I may have them maybe a couple of times a year. However, I brought my two grandchildren with me (ages 5 and 3) and decided to take the plunge with them. Right off the bat the staff was super friendly and very helpful. I ordered burgers for us all, they offer two sizes, so I got the smaller ones for the kids, and I got the regular size. They were cooked medium and loaded up with vegetables, and pickles. I had to scrape off all of this as the kids took an immediate dislike to all of these additions. Next time I will specify to keep it simple, just plain cheeseburgers. Anyway, once the burgers were re-worked they dug in. I didn’t have to cajole them at all, they really liked them, and so did I. The biggest surprise of all were the brownies for dessert. They were truly great, moist and fresh. I even took one home to have later, after they went to bed! This was an experience way better than any of the major fast food joints, which I would never re-visit, and the price was right too, about $20 for burgers, drinks and an order of great curly fries to share along with the brownies. Another Austin winner!
This is the best burger in Austin!! I have traveled all over the United States and this is definitely in the top five! Not to mention the gentleman in front of me Texas license plates NYY **** paid for my meal! Austin ❤️
Saturday about 11am. An early lunch. They were pretty busy, but with 2 registers open, the line moved very quickly.I got a small cheeseburger with mayo instead of mustard, and added bacon and Hickory sauce, with a side of onion rings, and a lemonade/Sprite.They were on their game! The burger was hot and tasty, the rings were fresh and crisp and crunchy on the outside; soft and oniony on the inside.While busy, the dining room was clean, and open tables were ready and waiting. The staff that we interacted with were pleasant and patient, given the rush hour.Looking forward to our next visit!
Amazing food like always. Dan's is a great food and have some of the best burgers in town. There breakfast is amazing as well. Many people don't know about it. Wake up and get some. Be a statistic for awesome food. Thank the employees of Dan's and quality they produce. 5+ ? s
