I enjoy Dan's Hamburgers at Shady Lane and Airport. The servers and the staff were the best. We went to the counter to place our order and they told us to take a seat, and someone would be there shortly to take our order. Initially, we went to eat breakfast. But I just couldn't help craving a burger. Well, I gave in and ordered a regular cheeseburger, a small onion ring, and a fantastic small strawberry shake! The taste is just like I remember - delicious!
First time visitor to Dan's. We are here working for Tesla. Food was very good and the service was good and fast despite being very busy. The biscuits and gravy we very good and so was the sausage ??? I did not take any photos sorry. Will be back over and over again. We found a good small mom and pop restaurant with good quality and good prices. Thank you.
An Austin original and home of a very popular and affordable Southern style breakfast - table service or take out. Biscuits and gravy, pancakes, grits, homemade hash browns, oatmeal, big breakfast tacos and more are all available daily until 10AM. After that they switch to counter service. I suggest a good old-school burger with their excellent onion rings
I love going to Dan’s every week either for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Their menu is phenomenal. No matter what you eat, it’s delicious, affordable and quality service. It is a friendly delightful atmosphere. You might see an old friend or make a new one. It’s wonderful and everybody loves the employees.
It was the first time making a visit to Dan's Hamburgers. As soon I walked in I was greeted with Hello, customer service was awesome and the atmosphere there was great. They got my order correct the first time but I've forgot to order the fries. Looking to go back to Dan's and this time cheeseburgers with fries.
Had the huevos rancheros our server Jesse was excellent and if the breakfast is good you can imagine what the hamburgers taste like. They don’t even need my five star review I just wanted to post my appreciation that a place still exists that knows how to conduct business correctly. ?
It was kinda crowded and loud but it was okay. Food took a bit but there was a lot of people so... Doesn't look crowded in the picture but I took the picture like 5-10 minutes after I ordered
Stopped by for a quick bite before going to an event in the area. Walked up and there's two doors at the entrance, the right door is for pickup and the left door leads to the dining area with walk-up ordering. There's about 25 tables with protective partitions in the dining area.The cashier wasn't too helpful when inquiring about their shake flavors. She insisted they are on the menu behind her before I asked her where are they listed. After realizing they weren't on the menu, she rudely stated they only have strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla. I ordered the strawberry shake.For the food, ordered a cheeseburger, french fries, and onion rings. After about 10 minutes, they called my name to pick up my food at the window. Food was fresh and had the nice homemade look. The burger wasn't the best looking, but was very good. The fries and onion rings were both crisp and hot out the fryer. Shake was very thick and tasted full of fresh strawberries. Food was great even though the service wasn't.
Their food is really good and reasonably priced! I love burgers made with fresh ground beef instead of frozen. Very friendly staff!!
Iv been a handful of times and have never been disappointed when craving a great burger! They went over the top when I found out they do breakfast tacos ! Just like the burgers you can't be disappointed with good sized, FULL taco !2stars- food breakfast/lunch1star- wait time (quick)730a/sat1star- ambience-1star friendly:I don't remember her name but an older African American women answered the phone maybe not with an attitude but her tone was NOT a friendly one. Then I get there for my food and realize it maybe it's just the way she is but again now in person her tone was NOT friendly and should not be someone greeting customers.
