Had the most “neighborhoodly” and “warm” experience here. The burger I ordered was AMAZING!!!! The gal at the front desk was equipped with witty and tasteful humor. Even the cooks said hello and thank you to me.This place is the last of its kind. I ended up talking to other people eating in the diner.WE NEED MORE OF THIS!!!! Recommend if you want an amazing burger with genuine human interaction.
Oh my, Oh my! Dan's is just perfect. Meat, Bun and ingredients are just perfect. Onion rings are special and crunchy. Top 3 hamburger joins for me in Texas. Lots of parking, friendly staff. Very reasonable prices.
Always great burgers and fries. Very reasonable. Friendly Staff. And they keep it clean. One of the last really good, old time, and affordable places to get a nice burger.
Good tasting burgers, still with an old timer diner feeling. If you haven't tried it and want a simple but tasty burger give them a try.
I just ate and puked right on the table. I’m not sure what it was but my wife said the burger smelled weird after I was on my second bite. I won’t return. I’ve been there a couple times. The first time it was pretty good but this time, …..never again?
This is a local restaurant and I dined at the N Lamar location. They serve breakfast and lunch/dinner. This place is pretty clean and the prices are reasonable. I have always dined at lunch time and they maintain the lunch crowd quite well. I did notice that the prices on the overhead menu did not always match the other menus. One of their specialties is homemade onion rings and while this is not one my favorites, I really do like the french fries which are crisp and fresh.
We are locals that moved to West TX, my Mom chose Dan's as a place she had to eat before returning to Lubbock TX. Most of us were skeptical because it is just a burger. Well, it was like returning home, it literally was the best burger we've had in many years! Not just a burger!!!
Amazing, always! I’ve done dine-in, takeout. Breakfast, lunch. It is great quality each time & the service is great. Their onion rings & curly fries are the beeeesssttttt!
