Pizza Gluten-Free Italian

The pizza is really good but the pasta is very delicious! I love how it is a secluded place that's easy to miss off the main road. When I arrived it was occupied just not too packed. The host is fast with seating and the waitress was constantly checking on all her customers. This place has a nice environment with a lot of art work on he walls which is for sale.

We had an excellent experience! It just so happened to be half priced wine bottle night, which is music to my ears.We fell in love with a red blend that the waiter suggested!!!The food was really good - the garlic bread w/ mozzarella was super amazing. We ordered the calzone, which was a great size. Also had the veggie lasagna, it was very flavorful. The waiter was super sweet. Totally recommend!!!

Cucina, formerly Brick Oven 35th Street, still has the same local owner and reliable menu. It's a wonderful neighborhood stalwart; friendly, casual, and delightful. They also have an updated outdoor patio, with fans, for those wanting open air. We've been eating here for years, and we love it.

First I want to say that our waitress was awesome! She is the only reason I am giving two starts instead of one. She was very nice and did ask how my food was, but I will rarely say negative things and send food back in fear of what might be done to my food in the kitchen by people who don’t like complainers. I could tell that the food was subpar due to lack of skills in the kitchen, not because a mistake was made. There was nothing right with my food, so I had little faith that it would come back any different than it did the first time and I was very hungry. We were started off with plain toasted bread and plain olive oil. No garlic, no dipping spices, no flavor. I still had my hopes up for a delicious hot Italian meal. I ordered chicken Alfredo with gluten free noodles. I like my food hot, but it was placed before me barely warm. At first glance I knew there was nothing authentic about their Italian food. The presentation was bland and unappetizing to say the least. Everything (the noodles, sauce, chicken and Parmesan cheese) were off white so visually everything blended together and looked blah. I actually thought at first they forgot my chicken, but no, it was just camouflaged. Even a little chopped parsley would have done wonders. To make matters worse, the noodles were a little undercooked, the sauce looked like it came straight out of a jar and tasted like it was the cheapest sauce they could find, and the chicken had no color whatsoever ever because it was not grilled or even pan fried…it tasted and looked boiled. Boiled! It was also dry and a little tough even though they thinly sliced it, which tells me it was overcooked. That wasn’t even the worst part about the chicken. The first bite I took tasted like it had gone bad and I had to spit it out. I dumped extra parm on everything, added salt and pepper for flavor and ate around the chicken until it took the edge off of my hunger. So disappointed! Winded up having to eat a frozen dinner in my hotel room later and it tasted better than this meal.

Gluten-Free options were beyond disappointing. My boyfriend was so excited to be able to finally eat good gluten-free Italian food! However, with every single plate that came out, his enthusiastic smile diminished more and more- it was heartbreaking.GF Garlic Bread: was a sad slice of GF toast with butterGF pizza: was very soggy and wateryGF Bolognese pasta: very acidic sauce , and the type of pasta they used tasted weird. In regards to my meal,The Cacio Y Pepe was just buttered noodles with hardened parmesan on top of it.It doesn't help that the server forgot about us. I had to go get him from inside the restaurant to come outside for our drinks.Felt like my boyfriend and I got robbed of 70 bucks. It pains me to write such a bad review but not as much as it pained me to spend that much money on food that I could have made better for 20 bucks at home. It sucks we had such high hopes :(

Delicious food but didn't give the Uber driver all of the order. Shorted the Tiramasu. Said no problem for me to drive over and pick it up or bring it up with Uber. . Not exactly what I thought I bought into.

If you see my profile, you’ll notice that I rarely (if ever) leave negative reviews. However, if I can prevent anyone else from getting scammed the way I did, it will be worth it. What you’re looking at below is what this restaurant thinks is $21.11 worth of Stromboli. It was smaller than a slice of pizza, and had barely any filling inside of it. What little was inside was “okay” quality (no ricotta, no sausage, etc.) but I would be hard pressed to say it was worth even $10. The word “disappointing” barely does it justice.

Delicious gluten free pasta, excellent service, and a lovely environment.

Great restaurant and the owner super friendly and the pizza - Cucina salad and spaghetti was incredible!! Thank you and see you soon!

This Restaurant is Amazing! Food, Atmosphere, Staff everything is perfect. Would give 10/10 if I could ❤
